Rec'd a hang-up call on the owner of our company's cell number.  Called back, and apparently it's a Google Voice number.  Anyway, left them a message to please call our office to schedule an appointment...which I love doing, because they're all excited that they're going to talk to the owner...till I tell them I need a credit card on file to schedule that time on her calendar.  Gotta have a little fun with these morons...I'll post an update if they call back.

Got a call from this number and when i answered the call they hung up...jerks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Called my office at 3:04PM, 6/20/12.  Simply pressed "BLOCK" on my Uniden phone.
Now when they call, my phone simply lights up.  The phone does not even ring!
HA!  Call all you want!

after months dealing with answering the Free Google  website calls and asking to get taken off the call list..they are back with a  Profile update message...recorded message still and they do not identify WHO the call is. I really hate this stuff. Most of the world is unemployed and these jerks don't even employ real people to hassle  us phone answerers who want to reach through the phone and strangle someone for taking them off task and losing our train of thought. FYou Google.

It was a recorded woman's voice.  Her message?  To update my "profile."  She didn't say WHICH profile.  She said to press 1 to update my profile, press 9 to be removed from the list.  I did neither, as I surmise if I would have done so, it would have let them know someone was on the end of the line.

We have received similar calls, asking for information to update a Google profile.  I am really tired of these scum bags.

i get calls noww from this same place i told them god knows how many time not to call and i have pressed 9 to be removed every time they call . yet the calls just keep coming !
they want to up date my google profile ? funny i don't have one !
they are not google at all and just a scam ! i report them every time i get a call from them to the FCC that is point less to do . the FCC does nothing at all to stop places like this from calling .
next week i will get another call from the same place and i will file a complant with the FCC again and it will just keep going like this for year after year like it has been !

Landline call. Sent to voicemail. Left no message

Call from someone who identified himself as "Eric" who asked to speak with me. I asked the nature of his business and he disconnected.

same as above, recorded call.  If you dial the number, you can leave a message.  If EVERYONE calls and ;leaves messages about their being scumbags, maybe it will tie up their time to where they go out of business.....

Received a call from this number, and let it go to voicemail. No message left.

I can't believe the amount of Fake Google calls I have been getting this year... "To update your Google listing, press 1" More like, press 1 to be connected to a scammer...

They ignore the donotcall.gov list. Reported.

I called the number and left them a message to go forth and propogate thyself of course in modern language using two words only.

These folks have called every day this week and when I answer, its dead air each and every time. These folks are a pain in the ( l ) !

I just got a call from this number a few minutes ago. It's not 5:15 PM in the 213 area code...

I can tell you this much - the real Google has nothing to do with these and is not behind these calls. And they have no affiliation with any telemarketing company. I spoke to a live person at Google's HQ about this recently, and it seems I'm not the only person annoyed enough to have called them - the young lady said she had personally taken about 2 dozen complant calls already the day I called...

This is just what it appears to be - some kind of scam. And these bad actors are using the Google name to make it seem legitimate, when in fact that is not the case, and Google is not in any way involved in any kind of telemarketing activity...

The 757 area code is a new one - they've used other area codes previously...

And whatever you do, if you get a live person DO NOT under any circumstances give them any personal information of any kind - no matter how authoritatively they try to sound...

The best advice I can give anyone is to not answer if you see a number on your Caller ID that you don't recognize...

My Caller ID said UNKNOWN NAME...
