***A company must be licensed in their state as well as the one they are trying to collect in if two different states are involved.

    Some Tips:
    *Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time, date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

    I Got Them LOL
I don't owe any debt either. I kept my old, pay as you use, phone # when I got my new phone #. Now I have two different numbers. I put my old phone in my dresser draw and check it every few months and laugh at the voice mails I received from this number. 757-320-1592. And it doesn't cost me a dime LOL

This is a Collection Agency who calls at least twice a week. It is for Medical Debt. They will ignore Ch 13 filings, etc.

Just so you know I use the "Dead to Me' app on my Android Galaxy 3. It is one of the best apps out there to permanently block unwanted numbers.

This company keeps using different numbers to get through but I keep adding them to the app.

I received two calls yesterday and one call today.  She states her name as Katie Moore and says she is a PI that will be serving me with papers today, either at my place of business or my residence.  She told me to have my supervisor available and a copy of my photo ID and that I have now been officially notified.  She left me a case number and a phone number to call if I would like to stop the process of being served papers and facing jail time.  After further reseach on the number and name, this yet another scammer trying to get over on people.  I wish there was a way to stop these people from harrassing folks.  Any suggestions?  I dont owe any type of debt hasn't been paid.
