paramount builders.... been trying to get rid of them for years... their auto dialer is very persistent

I few weeks ago I allowed the sales associate come and talk to my wife and I. Theminute I opened my door the man looked at my wife and i as if we were peices of crap. We are hispanic, his look was if he was saying, "Look at these spics, they are not going to buy anything." So he then talked to us for five minutes and he acted like he was in a hurry. So I turned him down and said, "No." (fulfilled his stereotypical look). I didnt care about that.

What I do care about is the bunch of inbred a**s that work at their corporation. They had me 3-4 times a day, Im in college right now and at times I forget theycall while I am in the middle of class. I asked them to stop calling. They stopped for 4 hours before they called again. Then I proceeded to call them back over and oaver again. They asked me to stop calling them. (I finally thought they got the point.) HAHAHA... well a few minutes ago I just recieved a call, again, while in class, my ringer was on, my professor threw me out. So then I proceeded to call them back. the censored version of my conversation is as follows, "Hello, Hi, I few weeks ago I ... asked you sons of ... Why the ... dont you ... get the ... out of your ears. stop ... calling me and my ... wife ... .... ... and have a nice day"

Well lets see if they get the point...

Thanks.  Now I know where the calls are from.  I, too, made the mistake of talking to one of Paramount Builders sales people two weeks ago.  The day after that, calls started coming in daily, including weekends, at various hours.  Never left any message when I didn't pick up.  I realize they even change the number each time they call (though the area code is the same).  Lesson learned for me.  Never, ever, ever, ever try to be courteous to these door-to-door sales people and give them your name/phone number.

Woke me up at 815 on a Saturday morning.

I recently had them at my door on Saturday morning, they are overly persistant and i couldn't get a word in to save my life.  They scheduled me with someone to come out to provide a free estimate... I later called and cancelled it and they assured me that the sales rep would not come, well at the time and date of the original scheduling, the sales rep showed up.  I got pissed and stated that they were not supposed to be there and shut the door on him.  Now this morning my phone has been blowing up with calls from them.  This is really rediculous.  I am so tired of people showing up at my door to sell things to me when I don't ask them to be there.  Yeah, they say they are members of the BBB, that doesn't give them the right to be pushy.  I regret that I spoke to them in the first place!!

They have been calling me for over a year now. They were even calling up to 3 or 4 times a day. I was in labor with my second child and they even called while I was giving birth...several times!!! These people are ridiculous and relentless...Stupid me gave them my phone number just to get them out of my driveway.

I too just got 2 calls, less than 15 minutes apart from this company.  Funny thing is, I don't remember ever giving them my number at all.  We're on the no call list too, so beats me how they got our number.  Seriously time to think about going unlisted.  If you call once and no one answers, calling back a second time certainly isn't going to be any better.

Recently got a new phone line, yesterday started getting called from this number - repeatedly!!!  I don't know who they really are, but I would NEVER do business with (1) any contractor that I don't know or to whom was not referred to me and (2) a company that needs business so badly that they must call so repeatedly.

Let me tell you all about these folks, there like vampires… don’t let them in the door!! I agreed to let a sales rep. come in and present their product. What a mistake. From the beginning I stated “spill the beans on the price, give me an estimate” (it was for replacement windows) it was a real dog-n-pony show, complete with lights, little do-dads that go round and the gold watch and everything.  And in the end he finally (almost 3 hours later) got off the price…about $1200.00 a window. Now the windows we are talking about are 33X42. I literally had to throw this person out!!! Short of calling the police. I don’t care how good a window is…

Kim, same story here.  DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these people.  They are scam/rip off artists.  They call at all hours of the day and night.  Luckily I have Comcast digital voice and I can block their numbers when they call as well as annonymous callers.

they called my home today actually and i told them i wasnt interested in being targeted by terrorists. They said they were paramount builders and i never heard of them so i told them i wasnt interested in joining their cult and hung up on them. Also the number showed up on my caller id said "NTELOS PCS and the number was 717-3489. so if you see this on your caller ID you want to ignore it. my wife even faxed a letter to them and e mailed them and it still didnt work.

I haven't lived in VA for over 15 months. I have never talked to any of their sales associates. But yet they call and hang up. So annoying.

I've gotten a few dozen calls from this number too on my cell phone and I've never give my cell phone number to anyone. Apparently they just program their dialing service to ring every cell and land line in Tidewater. They never leave a message. It used to be more frequent but has dropped off to one every week or two. I wouldn't have those idiots work on a dog house let alone my house.

I got five calls a day from this number and no one answered when I picked it up.

yes, these persistent salespeople will winkle your phone number right out of you, because you feel sorry for their having to drum up business by going door-to-door. I don't answer the phone when I don't know who it is, and set it on mute when in church or at night.

There was someone on my doorstep a few weeks ago at peek rush hour / dinner time regarding siding and windows / home improvments. I;m sure this is them.  WHY did i give out my cell number????  STUPID me!

i called the company operator and suggested they google their number to see all the bad PR they are receiving b/c of their computer generated calls and hangups.  she said she'd remove my number and check into the bad PR... forward to marketing.

time will tell.

Scam magazine and home alarm peddlers hassled me until I put up a large "No trespassing" sign visible from the road. No more peddlers. And never give out *any* info to strangers -- they will only use it or sell it with harassment being the eventual result.
