Fake call from treasury dept

Hi, it's Steve Martin from the Indian branch of the IRS.

Same thing.  Heavy accent named Steven Martin (Really?  If he was going to say Steve Martin, you'd expect him to be imitating King Tut), and I'm in big trouble with the Treasury Dept. and need to call him back so he can help him help me.  The only way he's going to help me is by offering to take my bank account and credit card information.

Shut down any answering device and don't answer, who's Steve going to threaten then? He's a wild and crazy guy, but without an answer, he's harmless.

This guy has called 5 times this morning. Leaves threatening  remarks  with respect to U.S Treasury and request you return the call  immediately.or be subject to penalty under law..

Sam as everyone else.  a phishing scam call.  Leaves threatening messages.  Whn you call back another person with a very heavy indian accent will tell you that you are being prosecuted for failing to file a tax return and if you do not comply with them you will be arrested.  Problem is that the IRS NEVER calls on the phone, they ONLY send regiated mail notices.

Got same calls in July, early August, last week and twice today.  When I answered today it wasn't Steve Martin himself talking, it was a recording.  Called back, he answered and when I laughed he hung up.

Same person called, threatened, and then asked me to go to my bank take cash out and then required me to stay on the phone with him so he could track me as I would be directed to go to Bank of America and he would give me the account number to deposit money into to ensure I would not be arrested. Oh and Steve Martin is now dean Martin.  Oh, and I am not to speak to any third party people about this or the deal to resolve this U.S. treasury issue will null and void and the police will come get me. I told them to send someone now. I am still waiting. Please file report under fraud on the U.S. treasury web page if this happens to you.

Just got the call from Steve Martin. Somewhat harassing tone with an Indian accent. Had to be a fake call so deleted message.

Called today 3 times near about the same time. All 3 times the call advises that it is the second attempt to execute US Treasury actions. Advises this is for a Magistrate judge or grand jury for federal criminal offenses. Advises someone - doesn't say who he is trying to contact at this number- to cooperate with us and help us help you. This was a recording on a loop.

I had to listen 2 times because I couldn't believe Steve Martin was calling me using an Indian accent!  My favorite part is the greeting "I am intending to contact you", or else I'll be in trouble with the "Magistrate Judge or Grand Jury".  What an id.  At least the quality of the scammer's messages are getting better.  Before the robocalls were hard to make out.

Same as all the above it was a recording on my answering machine from "Steve Martin" same demands etc. When I Googled  the phone number it said it was in the Norfolk, Suffolk, Hampton area? And like everyone else I did not respond and deleted the message.

I got the call from this number. Steve Martin with an Indian/Pakistani accent claiming to be from Treasury.

That wild and crazy guy Steve Martin threatening Treasury enforcement action again ... South Asian accent gives it away every time ...

Just got a call from the same guy that said his name was Steve Martin , I mean come on really he could not not come up with a better name than that. He said he was from the Treasury Department. and that I needed to contact him right away so he could help me , he must think we are all fools if he thinks we will give him any information.

This same Steve Martin with a heavy accent called me just a few minutes ago to say the same non-sense.  Nowadays, crooks behave in such a pathetic and inmature manner.  Whom they think they can intimidate ?
