Called, left message stating a name & case number, looking for my grandmother...

this caller has the temerity to ask for another for another number and that she has to get to the called party WITHIN the hour... states her name as TRACY BREMAN...will not leave a message, but left a number: 877-394-0392...BEWARE!!!

Number just called and left a "rushed", "urgent" sounding message for "Jeremy" (who I am not, and honestly don't know a single one...) She said her name was "Samantha" and I needed to IMMEDIATELY call her back at 877-394-0392 regarding Case #30113122ect..... Wow, a scam connected to a real live voice; they're stepping up their game!

Received call from woman, asking to verify my name. Then asked to confirm social security number. Put me on hold and her boss called stating apology and he had his assistant call.

They went on to state I had a balance owed on a credit card for $178 and if we could settle this issue right away. He apologized for calling and how the low the amount was but asked if I could pay. "I refused, since I never owned the credit card and lived at the address mentioned.

It all appeared very shady. The caller became irritated and threatened saying the call was being recorded and I was now liable. He gave out a social security number to see if I would confirm its validity.

I kindly asked him to send over all paperwork to address and move forward. Very shady, impatient people.

This idiot by the name of Kelly Sawyer called me at work and stated that she needed to confirm my social, I advised that she had the wrong number, she went on to ask did anyone share my name with me, because she had some important information to tell me. I advised her that she was being recorded and to please repeat her name, she then said she didnt consent to be recorded and told me to have a good day. Watch out for these ppl, record them so that you can have some back up.. Shady Shady....

A woman from this number called saying her name was Ms. Sawyer. She was looking for my husband and said it was important that he call back because some paperwork came into her office that he might not know about and she needed to let him know. She left a call back number of 877-394-0392.

NEVER give your name, social security number or any other personal info to a stranger on the phone or anywhere else!  No legitimate business will ever CALL YOU and request this info ... they would / should already know it.

Scam This woman called  said nsl or whatever asked for my social security number i said no and hung up/ DO NOT gave this over the phone...real scam.

I just received an unwanted call from this number...

i just received a call from 757-716-7196; the caller, a woman, did not leave her name- she stated she was calling from cra and I would have no idea why she was calling.   i do not return calls of people i do not know.

I received a call before I was awake they said they were filing a document with the fed gov and began asking questions and I had answered the questions before i was totally awake enough to realize what I was dealing with. Then they promptly made a determination then hung up on me. The phone number I received the call from was 757-716-7196 . I called it back they answer CRA . I asked what type of company they were they said there were 13 different depts. and I had reached a dept but they would not state what dept it was. They were very rude and abrupt and hung up fast.
Upon further research I discovered that this company appears to have been shut down by the Federal Trade Commission. It was shut down in Sept 2011.

A woman from this number (757) 716- 7196 called saying her name was Sofia. She was looking for my sister and said it was important that she call back her office. She left a call back number of (877) 394-0396. I ask her what is this about but, she just hang up…very rude!

Thanks to all that posted their comments here…clearly, it’s a scam so…BEWARE! Do not give out any personal information to these people and report them to the authorities!

I just rec'd a call on my cell for my husband saying the sane things about paperwork he doesn't know about and needing an urgent call back. We called back and cra recording came up. We were put on hold then hung up. Then I found this site with similar calls.

I received a call from this number expecting it to be a scam after their "pitch" and stated to them I was with my attorney at the moment over a different issue. Of course I wasnt, but I took it upon myself to reveal the "different issue" of a sexual harassment case filed by a telemarketer.... and then asked what she was wearing. She promptly hung up. :D

(757) 716- 7196 just called me. They started they were from CRA and They were looking for a person with my same and last name to discuss a debt. They wanted me to verify if the last 4 of my social security number was xxxx. I told them "I am sorry. That isnt my social security number. They then asked if I knew of another (person with my same name and last name). I told them 'Sure. Its a very common name and last name in the latino community. There is probably thousands". They said "Thank you for your time!" and hung up. Real rushed.

NEVER ever give out your name, address, social security or any other information about yourself over the phone. We are in the double-dip recession and even the scammers are using covert ops, such as debt collection as to scam people.

Call this am from a (Nicole), no company name, Caller ID listed Private Number, 757-716-7196, asking for my daughter by name which doesn't live here, reference some "documents", and when I asked for more info she said it was a "private matter."  Left a number for my daughter to call back - 877-394-0396, and hungup with even telling me goodbye....

I received a call from this number and the guy knew everything bout me!!!!
