I received a call from this number on numerous occasions.  I was harrassed yesterday at work by a man that was preaching to me about not caring about my life and not being a christian.  He told me that they were going to submit a wage assignment to my company and if that's done, I could lose my job.  He also told me that I must not go to church to be such a person like I am.  He also called another employee in my office and harrassed her as well.  I tried calling back today to speak with a manager over legal supervisors (that what they described themselves as) and was connected with this man again.  I called back and was transferred to another woman supervisor who was very rude as well and hung up on me.  What type of company is this and why are they harrasing me on my job.  Why are they arrasing other employees on my job.  I was told that these types of people are not allowed to call your job.  I also asked someone for the address to the president of the company.  Was not given the president's name but was given a phony address.  If the guy wants to be a preacher - he needs to be at a church not a credit company.  I would appreicated if no one from this unprofessional company at the 757.769.8773 contact me again.

(I left previous remarks from above).  This woman had the audacity to call back again today and leave another message saying that she has not heard back from me or my attorney and will give me one more day to contact her.  She still did not say my name or what this was regarding.  What a joke.  Don't call people like this back - they are preying on your fears!!

Get this - so if I call her back and say "Hi, you called me." and she says "And your name is.." And even if I don't tell her my name and say well you called this number so you tell me my name... All she has to do is google my telephone number and find my number in the Yellow Pages.  It's kind of clever (and scary).. So if I were more susceptible to such a scam, she could be like "Ah, yes... Mrs. so and so .. you owe us X amount of dollars and we are suing you blah blah blah..." And then a more susceptible person might be likely to freak out and be like wow how does she know my name... etc. and get really scared.  I actually think Dateline did a show about this recently...

I got a call from Mr. David yesterday and he said that he would call back yesterday. He did not. So he calls me this morning, yawning continously and I could hear conversations that had absolutely nothing to do with recovering debts. I gave them a prepaid debit card number that hasn't had money on it in MONTHS!! So we'll see what happens but I see that this is a potetial scam. Beware of Ms.Britt and Mr. David.

I took out several PDL's in 2007. I paid the principal on several but a few are still outstanding because I never heard back from those companies after sending out my C&D letter. I live in Indiana.

Last week, National Credit Works, located at 4490 Holland Office Park, Suite 103, Virginia Beach, VA 23452 started calling me relentlessly at work and on my cell phone. Their phone number is 866-304-7249. Cheryl Moore sent an Employment Verification to my employer and she is also the one that keeps contacting me. My employer did not complete the employment verfication. Cheryl Moore claims she verified my employment.

I do not want to call back. Does anybody know what PDL they represent? Should I send a C&D letter to them? It does not appear they are licensed in Indiana.

this place is not a scam, they are a legit debt collection agency, i have been sued by them, they have unethical practice's but they are a real company!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i suggest you contact them and work out payment arrangements, they will obtain judgement and garnish your wages.. they are a 1st party debt collection agency, and they think because they are 1st party, the FDCPA does not apply to them, but they are soooooooooo wrong..

I am a 12-year old girl and this man keeps calling my number and telling me that I have to call back regarding an urgent matter.  I tried to call back to tell them they must have a wrong number, but I get transferred to a voice mail box that is full.

1)  Tell your parents about the call

2) stop answering them.  stop calling them back.

I have no idea what the caller is up to, but its not something a 12-year old should be involved in.

debt collections do use several different phone#'s depending on the client.. i work for a debt collection agency and we have different #'s depending on where our client business is from.. however this is not illegal, but for national credit works, they are just the worst, unethical agency i have ever come accross. oh, wait , i forgot about another agency called cps..

for all of those who are wondering if this agency is legit, YES ,they are.. national credit works is known for collecting on PAYDAY LOANS, and other credit card debt.. they are a 1st party collection agency meaning, they original creditor's sold accounts to this agency, consumers 1st need to respond to these people and find out who the original creditor was, and contact them to verify who they debt was sold to.. make sure they truely have your old debt,, there are statues of limitatation on collection of debt, you need to find out what your state law is.. when it comes to these people NATIONAL CREDIT WORKS, they are very unethical, and is common for them to violate the FDCPA, and state laws.. but if you dont know these laws, then you may as well blame yourself for these people getting away with what they get away with....... these collections leave detailed information on voicemails, and harrass 3rd party people meaning " contacting your family members, and job, and even your neighbors, on a regular basis.. for those comsumers who keep writing about these collectors contacting 3rd party people, BY LAW, COLLECTORS ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO MAKE 3RD PARTY CONTACT FOR LOCATION INFORMATION ONLY.. AND THEY ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO CONTACT A 3RD PARTY 1 TIME..so, with that being said, all you consumers that are complaining about them contacting your family and friends need to let them know you know the law.. also people who are complaining they are getting calls for other debtors, need to also let these people know you are aware of the 3rd party contact law.. and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.. so they will stop harrassing you..
as far as no contact letters. that only works if they do not  have judgement filed against you.. if they do, they will get thier money, and they do not have to communicate with you to do that.. there are sooooo many ways to find out financial information on a debtor.. that should be against the law, they can lien your bank accounts once they find out your bank account info, and the tricky part is, you don't even have to give them your bank account info willingly,, there are ways they can find out..

I don't think Carly Gould, age 12, has an over-due payday loan.  The borrower probably lied about thier phone number on the loan application.  They wrote down a random number and it happened to ber Carly's.

This is a liar!!!! National Credit Works has no ground to take anyone to court. Doug McKinnon is the owner of this company and many others, he is the biggest loser in collections.
