My husband reiceved this call on his cell phone,and they refused to identify themselves,   therefore we want the identity

I just received a call from this number. I didn't answer and they left a vm. When  I checked it, it was just a person who sounded like they were sniffling into the phone. who is this!

I received this call wanting money said I owed them

I received a call phone the number 757-819-1544 telling me i out a lot of money for magazines i didnt order for 5 years.  He was very nasty to me and I told him I had his number and I was going to file a report with consumer fraud.  he said he would then close the file and my credit is ruined.  after 15 mins of fighing with him.  

I have been getting calls from people using this phone number for several months. They insist that I ordered subscriptions for magazines from them. Each time they call the bill goes higher. I have never ordered any subs. from them and I refused to pay. They threaten to take me to court to get the money. I do not know what company they are with, only the phone number. I am considering blocking them so that they cannot call me anymore. It makes me very angry when they call, they won't listen to me. I am convinced that they are a scam operation and a lot of people are going through the same treatment from them.

My daughter is having issues with this "company". She was apparently scammed into believing she would get a free $50 gift card for signing up for a year of subscriptions to a few magazines. (that was to cost $19.99) She was NOT told it would be a recurring 5 year deal!!! She called the number to cancel and was told she made an agreement, she could not cancel. After arguing for awhile she said "there has to be something I can do to cancel this!" to which they told her, we can't cancel, but we can "defer" it for 6 months. (They had her credit card info because she did originally agree to the one year deal. After the deferment conversation she canceled her credit card and got a new one because she, wisely, didn't trust these people.) Now the six months are up and she is being harrassed again. They are saying she could have canceled if she had called in the first 30 days...which she DID! She told them to check their phone records. They said because she defrered...now she can not cancel! The have said they are sending it to "collections". My daughter has EXCELLENT credit. Is this going to ruin it? What can she do?

I have been  receiving the same type of phone calls about this being a magazine company that I never ordered and they said that they would be charging my credit card for over five years.

This company has quite a few numbers that they rotate through.  I've gotten calls from 4 different numbers today..  It is a magazine sub.  They tried to tell me that I ordered magazines. I did get a couple of strange magazines, nothing that I would ever read.  I called my credit card company and reported the fraud.  They have sent me a new card and refunded the payments that they had already taken.  Be sure and contact your credit card immediately!! They can help!  The company was simply listed as subscription on my bill.

Have her contact her credit card company as soon as possible!  They can assist her.
