CID readout is "Virginia Call." Assuming phone number wasn't spoofed, Google says it's some sort of Virginia-based telecommunications company. Don't answer; they won't leave a message.

They left no message.

Clearing out my cell phone missed calls I saw the unknown number.  There was no message left

CID showed VA #, but no message left.

No message. I called right back. Recording said, The survey you you are responding to has expired.

I have been getting calls from area code 757-xxx-xxxx where the 'x' number changes.  It is always the same with male or female robo voice saying:  "You have been specially selected for a trip to the Bahamas", then it goes on about a survey-at this point I hang up.  I keep adding the numbers to the blocked mode on my cell.
Here is a list of the numbers thus far: 757-656-7088; 757-657-4025; 757-942-7542. Since I am a Virgina resident and have family in that area code I am hestant to blocke that area code.

I would let an answering machine screen the calls, but unfortunately voice mail and cell phones don't screen like an answering machine can.

There are call blockers available that can block an entire area code, and then "whitelist" or exempt specified numbers within an area code and let those ring through.

Or maybe block only the "area code and exchange number (prefix)" - but since there are almost 800 possible exhange numbers, that's a lot to block, and eventually that scammer will begin using the exchange numbers of your family's numbers.

Phone call into my cellphone at 0905EDT on Monday, 25JUL2016. Not a recognized contact. No message left on my answering machine. Suspect robot caller looking for telemarketing contacts.

Recorded call from "Lisa" -- timeshare marketing. Violates Do Not Call list.

They said if I completed a short survey I would win a trip to the Bahamas- Whoopee!  It must be my lucky day!
