received call, left no msg

Get calls from this number every single day.  It's obviously a machine.  When you call it back, you get a message that leads to nowhere.  Annoying.

I get calls almost weekly from this number for months. If I pick up they hang up and they leave no msg. It is annoying.

I too keep getting them.  They are irritating.

Been receiving calls from this number last few days. Multiple calls. Like all other posts, calling back does not get anywhere.

Calls every day and sometimes twice a day from them. No messages, no one speaks when we answer. Caller ID says Educational Res. There is a machine that says "Educational resources. Please leave a message." What is the scam here? Also what good is this site? Does anyone here report these things to the authorities?

I've been getting the same ol thing as you all.  I'm pretty annoyed by it as well.  If anyone can help or tell me if it stops...Id appreicate.  If Any authorities are being contacted that would be great to know as well.

The number is for Educational Resources who solicits for Tidewater Tech in Norfolk, Va.  They do use an auto dialer, which explains the silence. Their number (direct to a person) is 757-853-0400.

I don't know who it is and they have called a few times and won't leave a message

Tell them to remove you from the call list and it will take 24-48 hours.

Oh, and be careful who you give your number to when filling out forms. If it wasn't given to them, they wouldn't be calling it. It takes only one minute to stop the calls. Most spent more time posting here.

Its a computer for tidewater tech.How they got my company cell is beyond me.Call 7578530400 and [***] the lady who answers by having her remove your number.

Received a call from that number today around 5:30pm. Call the number listed above and told the lady to take my number of their list. I have received a few calls from "Educational Resources" using this number and others.
I live in Virginia Beach and if this continues I'll be making a visit to Tidewater Tech and logging a formal complaint because my number is on the do not call list.

I contacted them in regards to their constant phone calls.  They use a dialer machine and purchase leads from a company.  Sat on hold waiting for the so called supervisor.  Roughly 7 minutes later the lady returned to the phone and informed me the supervisor will call back.  Still waiting.  I'll post a message when they call back with their lead provider.

Their supervisor has contacted me back.  They currently obtain their leads through Info USA and Amerilist.  So if they are contacting you they have simply obtained your information through one of those two sources.  Contact those sources and have them remove you from their listing.  I'm on the DNCR and they have sold my information to that company.  I'll once more be searching to find out how their lead provider obtained all of our information.  I'll be posting again once I have results.

Received call on cell phone.  No response to greeting "hello".  Call back results in machine response "Educational resources".
Emailed the FTC (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx) and filed a formal complaint.  Go to home page, look for tab which says consumer protection, then use link for file a complaint. This website states that it is a violation of FCC regulations to make solicitations to cell phones.

How many of these people have Ntelos phones?

Do you people read the other comments? Second one down tells you who this is and number to call to get a person. A bit further down informs you of what lists they got your number from... I know we all like to [***] about this stuff because they are very annoying, but take a deep breath and read a little! :)
