Same here - robo-dial with no VM. Called them back, didn't identify themselves (though I believe it is Dynamic Recovery Solutions) claiming to be collecting on behalf of ACE Cash Express, the scum recently fined $10M by the CFPB for such behavior both in-house and through third parties. Looks like they still aren't complying with consent decrees or court orders. If you do talk to them be prepared to hear a lot of legal threats, terms like check fraud, etc. tossed around, court hearings to be scheduled, etc. no matter how many times you tell them you owe no such debt. DRS has numerous complaints piling up aganst them as well, so maybe they'll join ACE in the next court case brought by the CFPB. I have filed a complaint with CFPB, and will next file with the FBI's IC3 since they are now in violation of court decree and therefore criminally liable

Robo call claims to have a "file" with your name and a "complaint" attached to it.  Looks like Matt up there has already identified these people as scammers.  I have no idea how they got my number but they've been blocked.

I tracked their number to their home town. June Lake, CA. They claimed they are mediation dept of some sorts. Their toll free number is 888-557-1190 and it is not active number. Whatever they are doing, it's bordering felony in federal law and scam.

they call both cell and home numbers, claiming they have 20yrs to go back on credit card debt. I have never had this account they speak of. and besides the statue of limitations of collections in my state is three years. So i asked them nicely to please subpeonea me. they hung up on me...

Claims Mediation Group is how they answer the phone. Told me a bad check had been written off of a checking account,  to TJMaxx.  (I dont have a checking account). They had my address and social. Representative was rude every time I called back to try to obtain further info. Online research says this may be a scam.  Reported it to the FTC
