The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

Got call too, declined answer, and no voicemail left.

Looks like a scammer.  On my iPhone (and I have seen this on Android too), you can click call info and at bottom select "Block Call"

Sign up for the no call list here https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx

If they keep calling report the number to them. It takes around a month to go into affect.

No way to stop them from calling.  Just don't answer any calls you don't recognize the number or name.  Let answering machine pick it up.  It's annoying but nothing can be done.

Am I the only one who answers a phone call without knowing who is on the othe end. I always answer my phone except for private number.

As I love screwing with people,  I also always email back the sender that cant get the money out of their current country without help and will split the money.

Try it for some relaxing fun

My home phone is registered on the do not call list and only hooked up to a fax machine and the recording tells you to send fax now.

This phone rings starting at 11 am and stops right at 8 pm about 4 calls per day

I got a phone call at 850 am when I was sleeping from this #. At first it was an automated msg which said to select 1 to speak with someone re: my credit card so I pressed 1 and heard music then someone with an incredibly thick Indian accent came on the line and I asked what company is this? She said we call for many banks and credit cards and I said Please put me on the Do not call list and she said something I couldn't understand then I said Do you understand me Put me on the Do not call list, and she hung up without confirming anything. This happens alot and robs me of my sleep and is a crappy way to wake up.  I am starting to really hate the people who now represent this kind of annoying scam artist behavior.  I don't like saying or thinking that, but its something these people should think about before they take these jobs and create so much Bad Karma.

Caller Id showed "Arnoldy, Ronald" , 1-760-252-3499", so I made a recording using a camcorder in case the individual is a protected government employee and someone is trying to set me up - such as the caller claiming to have received the call at 8:50 AM,  two minutes before I did.

Google "San Bernardino County Assessor" and search the website using that name. The Assessor omits
the address citing California Government Code Section 6254.21, which that law can also be Googled. That law protects certain government employees. Thus,  I must comply with the law.

Assume that the name and phone number is"Spoofed" - or fabricated - to appear on a caller id device.

Keep the phone number on your caller id and use a camcorder to record the name and phone number.
