I was contacted by a middle eastern man  who called my job in said it was a pending fruad case against me in to call the senior attorney office in he'll explain everything  ....i called in his assitant who was also middle Eastern told me i owed for a payday loan...i never took out apayday loan but i did inquire about they sent me info and it was just ridiclious so i never got a payday loan ...my husband and I contacted mr.micheal carter with the middle eastern accent..him when my husband called mr carter said we abused him by getting angry and didn't give any info about the case...and to settle my case in court..his assistant called in said I will be picked up today... I wouldn't give them any info but they had my last four ...so scary I hope this not real thank God for sites like this... have to be careful where you give your info called from an 7602783027

Just received a call from the same number, saying the exact same thing.  Same name...complete scam.  CALL these people back all day and annoy the crap out of them.

I got a call with the same Atty. Carter that I have a warrant for my arrest. I called the State Attorney and the local police station. They said I have a payday loan. I have inquired a lot in the internet... the number is 760-278-3027

Same situation, except that when I explained that I'd been referred by the first person (whom I could not understand), he told me that it was regarding an important "sensitive" case.  He started off by asking me for my attorney's information; I gave him nothing.  Once I got in touch with Mr. Carter and started explaining what had transpired, he said goodbye and hung up on me!  The first call was made to my work number, so they are utilizing both my cell number and work number.  I recently applied for a loan from a company called 100 day loans and ended up sending $224.00 to a place called California Payday loans.  Needless to say, but I've no way of getting my funds back; they heightened my financial situation rather than decreasing it.

Even if you DID owe a payday loan, you wouldn't be arrested! There is no debtor's prison in the United States.

My husband was called at work stating this company was the Federal Investigation Bur. and he owed a payday loan and they were coming to his work to arrest him by 4:00pm today! My husband about lost his job today because of this scam!!!

Just got a call from them asking for my husband. Wouldn't tell me anything, other than something about a warrant being involved. Said that if my husband didn't vet in touch with them today, that they wish him good luck as this situation unfolds. We too have inquired for payday loans. But owe nobody anything. Gentlemen that left message had a very strong accent, said his name was Robert Butler.

Also said he was calling from attorney Michael Carter's office.

I was contacted this morning and kept getting called like every hour or so. When I finally answed he said the same thing that was mentioned in earlier posts. I didn't receive any info reguarding the case he spoke of expect that I was being charged with fraud, theft, and laundrying. I didn't apply for any cash advances. Then he contacted my work asking to speak with me again.

I got a message from my job and my cell phone. They stated that I had a warrent out for my arrest for writing bad checks in Cali. I dont live in Cali. I called my sister inlaw who works for the state courts. They told her she had the wrong number, then when she redail the same number it went to their fax. The guy said his name was Chris Jones, and the attorney name was Michelle something. I was really [***].  That they had all my information.

I have same calls comming from different numbers, I called the local police and informed the same. They recomended to conf to police department as soon as you receive a call.

To keep it simple and clean, keep police and your offices informed...

i got a call at my work, i was home so my mom called n said some attorney named Ben Williams called n for me to call back immediatly. I did n it was busy called again, left message. So i thought id look up this num an see if its a scam. Some idiots thinking there gonna scare me n get money off me. Not gonna happen. those jerks.

I have recieved the same call but will not return the call. The mid eastern guy says that either me or my attorney of reading should contact him and the subject manner is time consumming. He says if I do not get a hold of him then he wishes me good luck because the mannor will fall on me.

I have called evertyone I can think of and make a complaint. Filed two Police reports. Talk to the Attorney general.  Some way this mess need to stop!@@@@

Me too I got a call to and they had all my info to and say they would get me in trouble they say I need my attorney name and number just out of the blue
