I got a call from this number telling me my business utility was late and power will be temp shut off if no pament was made. I was couple days late on payment. I was instructed to go buy a money pack scratch off for payment. Before I could confirm it was not real I wad SCAM! To all business owner out there please dont respond to any of these calls especially if an India accent people. They are all scam artist. BEWARE!!

Got the same call today! It's all a scam. Be cautious!

This just happen to me!  Decided to check out website and see if this was indeed a SCAM and sure enough it was!!  Please be very careful if this call comes your way.

Just got a call from this number. The man who called claimed he was from the "Building Department" and that there would be an interruption in our electric service today. When I tried to ask him for more information, he then said he was from PG&E. He said he needed to speak with the business owner or a manager. I could hear a bunch of people speaking in the background, so it sounded like he was calling from a call center. For some reason I fell for it, even though it seemed a little fishy (I assumed he was telling us there would be an interruption in service because there was going to be construction in our area or something). I passed the call to the owner of my company.The man told her that she had not paid the bill, so they were going to shut off our service. She started going over amounts and her account number with him. Then we started to realize it was a scam, especially since we had paid the bill, and they had never sent us a warning notice (PG&E usually send several before they actually suspend your service). The other owner of the company got on the phone with the man and asked him for his name and number and tried to get more information out of him...they were definitely trying to scam us. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE! And if you do get a call, report it to the police and to whatever company they are posing as.

Just received a car from an Indian man saying that my business utility bill was late and would be shutting off my power in the next hour, is there any way we can report these scammers to the authorities?  

Same as previously noted. Tried to get past employee who answered claiming service interruption same day unless paid.

Yes, definitely a scam. They scare you that your utility bill hasn't been paid and that they will shut you down by 1pm. The real PGE would never call but from a 800 number and they will never demand you make payment over the phone. Do not give your credit card number!! I scolded the guy and he mocked me, it was so unprofessional, even for a con artist!! These guys do not have your account number. If they were really PGE they would know who to ask for and give YOU information instead of ASKing for it!! The FBI should follow these creeps and bust their [***].

We received a call from this number on 2/24/14.  They said our business San Diego Gas and electricity bill was unpaid and they needed payment immediately or they would be shutting off service.  I knew immediately it was a scam.  I reported them to SDG&E, the police and alerted the entire business community!  DO NOT EVER GIVE INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE!  Inform your employees to do the same thing!!

Same here, just received a call from (760) 305 9543, claiming to be Edison.  I got the callers name: Jacob James, I.D Number was 0351,  telling our electric bill was past due and power would be shut down immediately.  Wanted our bank account information. As I asked him more questions as to which branch of Edison he was from, he hung up.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION< ITs A SCAM!!!!!!!!

I got the same call, then called the Police, they came and made a report.  You should call your local Police to make a report, that's the only way these scum of the earth people will be stopped.

Scammers, parading as Edison. 760-305-9543.  When confronted that I knew they were scammers, the reply was "I'm in Mexico you can't do anything"  piece of S@!#t.

just a call from 760-305-9543. they claimed to be from edison and threatened to shut down our power if we didn't pay asap. They called my business location and was attempting to scare us into paying. Please be aware of this scam and be very cautious of anything that may out of the blue.

Complete [***] did the same to us this time it was a mark calling POS con man was trying to get us to send him $$$ as well Do not give any information!!!!!!!! The dais they were department water and power and they will shut down our electricity for nig paying bill !! WTF !!!!
