    The guy told us that we had won $350,00 and a new Mercedes Benz and that we had to go to the local Western Union to pick up a claims receipt so that when they came to our house to deliver our "prizes" from Publisher's Clearinghouse all we would have to do was turn over said receipt in order to get out winnings. The call was intended for my mother-in-law who would be 76 had she not passed away a few months ago. But, of course, he said that my husband and I could receive her winnings. When I told him it sounded like a scam he abruptly ended the call.

    "Pleasant good day, Ms Sharon. My name is David Brown.  We are calling you regarding a certified check which you have won from the Publishers Clearing House.Please call us back at this number.
    God Bless You and have a Blessed Day..."
    Hmmm.  Sounded like a scam so I decided to check it out and would you know... And what ashame that he should end with" Have a blessed day" as he tries to help scam me!
