Caller reporting to be from U.S. Treasury saying I have been reported for something and needed to talk to me. (Someone else took the call.) Scam! If a federal agency needs to contact you they do it by mail. So these calls are phishing scams.

Same here.  He got nasty with me when I told him there is no way and that he was a scammer.   Didn't like that!   Also called back three times after I hung up on him.

I got a call from this number saying that he is from department of legal affairs..he is telling me that I got involve in a transaction last Friday..it is a scam! Never did any transaction last friday..

The accent for the Treasury agent that called was not very good.  :)

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I received this message on 2/10/2015 from a heavily accented male caller.   The grammar below is as close as I could get to replicating the mistakes made by the caller.  Be forewarned....

Hi [First Name] this is Alan Clark with the Department of Legal Affairs.  Well I was trying to reach you in regards to very important issue.  This is a verbal notification for you in regards to enforcement action that have been started on your name.  My number is  760.592.9186, again my number is 760.592.9186.  If for any reason you are busy to call back, I would suggest you to have your "unpronounceable" attorney to do it for you as delaying call might "unpronounceable" legal mess for you.  I hope you would take this right and call me back.  This is Alan Clark with the Department of Legal Affairs.  Looking forward to speak to you, until then have a "fresh" day and goodbye.

The individual that calls is "Alan Clark" calling about "a very important legal matter that will affect you." This is a scam as I have no legal matters to contend with. Alan Clark claims to be calling from the Department of Legal Affairs. Google Search Department of Legal Affairs. It doesn't exist. It is a scam. DO NOT LET THESE SCAMMERS GET YOU. Alan Clark can barely speak comprehensible English and it almost sounds like a computer voice based on tone and pronunciation. DO NOT BE SCAMMED BY 760-592-9186, Alan Clark w/ the DEPARTMENT OF LEGAL AFFAIRS.  THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!

Same deal.... scammer called on 2/10/15 from number 760-592-9186, left a message at my parent's house, under my maiden name. Stupid.

This guy/company needs to be stopped.
