Called to ask about visit to 5/3 bank

I got a call from this number tonight but didn't pick up ! I don't pick up call with numbers that I don't recognize anyways !!

Can you clarify your response? Do you mean a call asking about your visit to 5/3 bank? Customer service thing?

I received a call from this number too, didn't know the number and figured it was just a solicitor since it was from California and I know no one from there.

If you're a Fifth Third Bank customer, it's likely in relation to some business you have conducted with them. I have a car loan through them and they do call me periodically.

Caller ID wouldn't ID the caller.  Caller hung up.  I don't believe a bank you bank with should call you from another state, it should be your local branch itself.  I find this hard to believe, even with caller ID on line say it's 5th 3rd.  You can't always believe what you read on the internet.

RE: People who wrote that they recieved a call and did not pick up because they dont pickup calls that they dont recognize.  Im happy you find it necessary to advise us of your policy on your phone picking uping.  However, provides absolutely no assistance or information in determining anythng about who or what the number is which is what this string is for.  Please consider if what you are writing is useful or useless information.  Hey but thanks for letting me know that you didnt pick up the phone.

Caller ID was fifth third bank.  I wasn't home to answer call. They left no message. I did call their service cent two days ago to get a new ATM card.

I work for a bank. They are calling to follow up on your recent visit.  The information is used to determine if the employee's gave you excellent service.

Just got a call.  Caller ID said Fifth Third Bank.  They were asking about loan info for my Mom, who has been dead 20 years....Calls back said Conversys I think, looked like marketing company, but I think there is a scam going on.  I am telecom engineer for the nation's largest mortgage lender, and you can change caller id info on most phone systems.  What you see on your caller ID means nothing.  They can send any number, but the name is usually the billing name for the account.

It's a legit market research firm in Oceanside, CA called Convergyx. They call regarding a follow up survey to a visit you made to one of their clients. If you want to improve service at the businesses you visit, it helps to answer surveys. They called me regarding 5/3 bank, which definitely could use improving.

I have not been at the bank in months, find it hard to believe it was them, they left no message, i put them in the spam call list, do not answer....

Just got a call from this number and it says Fifth Third Bank, I will contact them tomorrow about this.Maybe they can do something about it

Another call from this number, just says Fifth Third. I notified the bank about getting a call from this number. The girl told me they have no affiliates in California, and was going to notify the fraud dept. about this.Thought it might be a phishing scam.... REALLY?

They called the spouse's cell phone to ask about a person we have no knowledge of and the woman did state it was 5/3, which is was not, but a 3rd party working on behalf of 5/3; the "only bank you'll never need!".  

We are amazed that bank has customers given the exuberant fees and request of thumb/finger prints to do business with them; the people who are clients must have money to piss away.  Try switching banks and give to your favorite charity unless 5/3 is your favorite charity..LOL.
