Phone display read OCEANSIDE CA and this number. I don't know anybody in Oceanside, so I let it go to answer. No message was left. In light of this number's lack of history, this was possibly a righteous wrong number.

We are on the DNC. Neither that nor the prohibition against robo calls is a deterrent to these low life scumbags who state "they are required by recent federal legislation to offer loan reduction. Press 0 to speak to an operator, press 1 to be removed."

Do not do anything -- just hang up. Pressing 1 confirms your number is active, and pressing ) gives them the opportunity to do what they are trying to do -- get your personal financial information.

Caller ID read "MOD DEPT."  Really? Two friggin days before Christmas these bottom-feeders are still out for the kill?

Called me at 1720 Christmas night. MOD department. Nobody there when  I answered.

Called on christmas. Answered and no one there. Seriously?

Called 5:50pm yesterday, Christmas Eve.  Really?

Recorded phone call asking for financial info to refi home loan. Telemarketing scum, plain and simple.

Called Christmas day at 5:10pm.  Caller ID said MOD DEPT.  They didn't leave a message.

Got call. Didn't pick up. No message.

Filing complaints with the FTC is another scam.  They don't do any thing until they get 1 million complaints.  Even then they have only written complaint letters to 23 telemarketers since they went in existence.  How many Federal workers do you think we pay to write 23 letters?  It's just one more rip off of the American public.
Who do you think pays for the political campaigns of these blundering buffoons?  We have the government we deserve.  It won't end until it collapses from the weight of its own blubbering greed.

I gotta call from 760-655-3022 - Thought it was from my BroMance Marine Buddy at Camp Pendleton ... Dude is HE HOT or WHAT ?!   Was disappointed when it was the "MOD DEPT"  - - - 'was ready for a night of hot stuff with my BroMance Marine Buddy . . .

Call from (760) 655-3022 to my Google Voice. Mortgage Company peddling lower rates. They've been BLOCKED!

They called and left no message.  All these people do is fish for gullible people who will give information so they can rip them off. Do-Not-Call list is useless. Sometimes I think that they get the DNC list and use it as a valid telephone number listing and call those numbers.
