Mortgage call I have been getting these calls on my business phone for a mortgage when you answer and try talking to the people to quit calling they hang up the phone. When you call the number some voice recording comes on and says they will likely call you back but if you want to be added to a list of Do Not Call you type your number press # and they still keep calling. I have been dealing with these people for about a year now.

These people need to stop! Or at least let me talk to  HUMAN AND NOT A STUPID MACHINE.

Just got a call from 760-661-0489.  I am on the do-not-call registry.  I informed them of this and they hung-up.

I asked, the rep claimed to be from "Lenders Direct" of "Southern California". I tracked that name/location to mhmc.com Mission Hills Mortage Brokers, their phone number is (800) 874-5952, consumer@mhmc.com is email. Let them know how you feel about being cold-called.

Well I just got a call form the same number so I went online and found this site.  They called my cell phone, but did not leave a message, and I am also on the do not call list.

Just recieved the same call on my cell from 760-661-0489 when i answered the line went dead and they hung up.

I got one too, I never answer calls I don't recognize, so I checked online for the number and I am glad I didn't waste my minutes answering for them!  And I am on the Do Not Call List too.  These people are so infuriating!!

Yes, me too, these guys called my cell phone number.  Hung up when I didn't answer.  These guys are rude!

I recieved a call from the same #. I want to thank net23 for the great additional info. All of you that are on the do not call registry you can go to there site (www.donotcall.gov) and you can file a complaint against these people. Maybe if enough people complain they can do something about this company.

I am currentely researching the call I received from a Southern Ca. lending company. My daughter is a Morgage broker in Southern Ca. and will find out who this company is. I plan on getting a restraining order on them and filing a complaint with the better business bureau. The caller told me she was in San Diego

this is my first time trying to follow up on these type calls. Glad to know this is something random and not harrassment. It is a shame "paying" phone customers can't do anything about these annoying calls

bastards called me too. i just purchased a new phone with a new number that was activated today 7/20/2007 so i thought that call was a bit suspicious. i didn't answer though, "and they bet not call back"
