This number keeps calling me but mo message

The caller is GE Services, Debt Collector (760) 742-5344

They called me, too. Said they were from Credit One Bank.

It is credit one collecting on debt. They are extremely rude and don't seem to understand when you tell them that you are unemployed and can't pay the minimum. I sent them 60% of the minimum (which was more than I could afford) and they kept pushing me to oay more. When I told them that i would send my next payment next month, they stated that they would put a comment in my account that I refuse to make a payment. They threatened to send me to collection but I told them that as long as I send payments and they cash those payments, they are not allowed to send me to collections. I then asked if they had a license to do business in California because California law says ALL businesses have to have a license in California and all my transactions are in California and I live in California, they need a license and that i would report them, they hung up on me. They keep calling but don't leave messages. Oh well.

Did this "business" send you proof, by USPS mail, that the debt exists and they have a right to collect it?

If not, stop paying them, and demand they mail you that letter.
