got a call on 12-23-14 from a Aaron rogers about a enforcement action. he asked for me by name, i was told he was from legal affairs and needed to call him back or have my attorney call to avoid a legal mess. he had a heavy accent, this sounds like the same scam being reported by others and  now using a new phone number. will see if calls back and says irs or not.

Same as stated by Mr. Sandusky. Re-listened a few times due to caller's heavy accent and the name I deciphered as James Tower. Caller followed the same script. Call came on December 21, 2014.

In heavily accented (Indian sub-continent) English, the caller left a message claiming to be from U.S. Treasury Legal Affairs, and requested that we call back with our attorney to discuss an important matter.  Almost certainly an identity theft or similar scheme.  A--holes...

Just got a call from "Christopher Wilcox, Law Enforcement", he wants me to send him some money.

got a call from Chris Wilcox from same number saying the he's from US Treasury department calling about law enforcment and to call back or have my lawyer call back to avoid a 'legal mess'. Had very heavily accented English (Indian?)

This is a fraudulent call. Never give information to anyone over the phone. If there's a problem — I'll be contacted in other ways. They most likely got a list of employee names and are trying to exploit people.

• A "Chris Wilcox" left a message on my phone, from the "U.S. Treasury" threatening me to contact my attorney and call back before an "action would be placed on my name" and the aforementioned "legal mess."

• I called back from a different line. Lots of chatter in the background. I asked for their address and they gave me the local IRS office in El Centro. Same heavily-accented voice now identified himself as "Inspector Alex White."

• Called the office in El Centro, they are an IRS tax preparation service that does not take calls over the phone.

Chris Wilcox with legal affairs us treasury. Heavily accented voice. Re: enforcement action. Call or have my attorney call to avoid a legal mess. Ended with "have a blessed day." Ha! Treasury.gov says government agencies will never contact by phone re: money owed. A SCAM. Don't call back.

Same thing happened with me. 1/13/15, WV. I am not sure the man even gave me his name.  Lots of chatter.  Heavy Indian accent.  Never asked for money...I did ask what this was all about, Said I should have been contacted.  Told him I had not. Rambled off some pre 9-11 address that no one has used for years. Gave me the same number as listed above, said to call and use extension 226 and ask for the US Treasury Office.  ??! If this were legit and I did as instructed, why would I have to ask for that department/office...wouldn't they answer the phone stating you've reached that department?  

Just got this message from Chris Wilcox as well and listed me by name and he threatens that this will be a mess for me if I don't call back.  I don't owe anyone any money and certainly don't have any legal actions.  I'm glad to see I'm not alone in this.  I will not be calling him back.  He mentioned contacting my attorney and 'until then have a blessed day".  I also detect a lot of chatter in the background (call center perhaps) and a distinct accent.  

Just received a call today (1/15/15 @ 6:03pm Eastern Standard Time) from a "Mark Hansen" asking for my spouse.  He too had a heavy accent (not sure from where) stating he was from the US Treasury.  Initially I hung up on him.  Then "Mark" called back.  With this being the 2nd time in multiple months, I let him know he is a SCAM and "Mark" has not called back.

Received a call from 760-897-3202. Same script everyone else has heard. It is a scam. I will not be calling them back.

I got a call from Chris. I knew it was a scam so for 2 day straight I non stopped called him back. It was so funny how he cursed and yelled. I begged him to call the police for phone harassment but he wouldn't. I still fill his voice mail.
