They have a complaint filed with name on it? Sounds like BS to me. Anyone else have any idea who this is?

I don't know who it is but they just called me on October 3 2015. I answered and they hung up, I haven't tried to call back yet.

Like the other, I answered and they immediately hung up. Weird part. I pressed *67 to mask call  and called from a different phone and dialed their number. It was like the phone line was dead. No busy signal, no ring signal, nothing.

this is a call center to sell you a new united health care plan

I just got a call asked for.. not me.. when i called back it was United Health Care

Claiming to be United Health Care, they verified my name and plan then said they wanted to set up an appt. with an agent to come by and discuss better options such as supplemental ins.  I said "NOT GOING TO HAPPEN" and they hung up.  HA!

I'm sure this was a telemarketer! Would not leave any message on my answering machine! I.D. said UnitedHlth Care! They can't speak,,, they don't want me very bad! NOT that it would HELP if they did speak! I am NOT "HELPLESS"! """IF""" I need assistance """I WILL CALL YOU!""" Sooooo, ""BUG OFF""! Not JUS SAYIN',,, WORD...................

Caller ID said UNITEDHLTH CARE.  A woman came on who knew my name and she wanted to sell me a drug supplement.  Claimed she was a licensed agent which immediately made me suspicious.  Callercomplaints.com says this is a spoofed number.

I got the same as everyone else, my phone rang 5 times got to it, answering didn't kick in, they left no message. The way united health care is displayed is suspicious. I'll call the number listed in the phone book first.

You are so correct about the identity, and they constantly phone, often hanging up, or with the wrong name on the one occasion they left a voicemail! I have already written United Health Care, demanding they stop calling, and warned them if they continue to send me e-mails, that I would investigate whether or not they are in violation of the HIPPA Laws, by posting my private health care information on the Internet....especially after I sent them a registered letter of complaint, and this threat of pursuing a law suit, and if there is a good probability that I have a case, or even a beginning of a class action lawsuit!

These calls are from a call center where the low paying employees only make money per phone call log of numbers attempted, by the call center employee! A very intrusive and disturbing phenomenon. It needs to stop, or be stopped by those of us fed up with this behavior. It's not like they truly care about what's best for us - only for UHC!

Yes, they are trying to send you am independent insurance broker to ruthlessly change your policy that's best for UHC: example- Medicare recipients with supplemental plans through AARP, to change to Medicare Advantage ( the only one that it's an advantage for is the broker, and especially UHC! My physician refers to Medicare Advantage as Medicare Disadvantage. Those brokers in my opinion, along with "advantage," is as close to criminal as these insurance companies are able to get, and get away with the reprehensible scams, in my opinion, along with others who agree.

When I answered the call, I was asked to confirm my name as mentioned.. I heard water running in the background and asked who that was, and on receiving no response, I hung up. I felt uneasy about the call, and found out that it was from UNITED HEALTH CARE - this is NOT the manner in which to approach the public!!!
