A fax machine is continuously calling me and won't stop.

763-367-3943 tries to fax every few minutes.  It is a landline from Osseo, MN.  I am not expecting a fax form anyone

A fax machine will not stop trying to fax. Its every few minutes. I have over 15 missed calls!!!!!

I set up my computer to answer the fax.  It is from OptimRX.  they sent a prescription refil request to my house instead of to my doctor.

We have the same problem. When I call the number back, it's a fax machine???
Pain in the butt. It starts at 7am and goes on all day long.

This is a  fax from Optum RX, their phone number is 1-800-791-7658. If you can receive the fax, allow it to print, it is a one page prescription. That way you will know who has your phone number listed as their fax number. You can call them, the patient listed on the form and the doctor and or report them for  HIPAA Violations if they do not fix the issue. You should first complain to the offending doctor at least.  A doctor has my phone number listed as their fax number and this has been an issue for over two years.

I caled back to find it was a fax machine.

I have been receiving these calls for three days now.  All times, but always around 3:30AM.  Luckily found this site, called the 800# listed on the posts.  My phone number was listed as a fax for a doctor in error.  Rep agreed to make it inactive.  Let's hope it works.

We've been dealing with this same issue for over 20 years!   Seems a doctor we don't go to, had a misprint on their business cards many years ago....we started getting hundreds of FAX calls over the years from hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, places where they perform tests, etc.  (pharmacies are the worst and the biggest blockheads and rude people who have no clue how to LISTEN to what you are explaining to them.)  
I had been in contact with one office manager who was supposedly working on resolving this problem, but she left or was fired.  Have recently made contact with the new office manager who was also working on this.  But this call today was from Minnesota---I'm in Colorado and have NO FAX MACHINE!   lol....I couldn't reach the office manager, so I managed to block this call....I think!   We have been close to a lawsuit regarding this!   We used to get fax calls in the middle of the night.  GRRRRRRRR....

We too were receiving faxes to our main phone number alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day and it was driving me nuts.  It is Optum RX and all I had to do was call them and give them our phone number.

We will see what happens!

Same here! Fax machine keeps calling!

Just call your phone provider and block the unwanted phone #, or do it over the web - I logged in to my phone provider web page and submitted that phone # - it stopped calling

Over 25 calls this am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't hold your breath!  I've called them twice and they still continue to call.  The people @ the 1-800 # have nothing to do with who is faxing.

Getting up to 8 calls a day on my cell.  Usually right after an "unknown caller".  Considering I have 2 sons in the military it is very upsetting not to be able to pick up my phone before screening.

The calls are continuous and don't stop. When I call back it seems to be a fax machine.

Don't return calls to unknown numbers that call you, it can open the door for trouble. Try blocking the number or ignoring the call completely by shutting down any answering device. Turning your ringer off could help as would a call blocker.
