What if you have never been at Abbott Northwestern? I call shenanigans!!

They called and left nothing

I just received a call from them, when I picked up and answered there was no reply on the other side.  The caller id says "A RS"

They just called me, and their destination caller was not home, and refused to allow me to take a message, very shifty...

They keep calling, never leaves a message and don't have acctount or billing from this orginization.

I don't think it is Abbot Northwestern Hospital's business office.  I have never been there, nor do I know where it is located and I just got a call from the same number.  I answered, no one was there.  So, I hung up.

It is reliance recovery and this is a collections agency.  Mine is for a Allina Medical Clinic bill.

they called and that person dont live here & they would not leve messege kinda sounds like bull ****

They keep calling and never respond when I answer or leave a message. If it is for medical bill collections why would they call me. I havent been to a hospital or doctors office in 7 years. Seems bullsh!t to me.....

763-561-9120 called cell on 10-FEB-2010 at 3:53 pm CST. I did not answer, they left no message.

scam call, all bills paid, no bill ever received at home, but now they want $700 for something that was turned over to them, bogus company, bullying, false operation

block calls if its annoying. If it was important to them, they would leave a message and not be rude!!

763-561-9120 called today and left no message. i figured i would've had a voice mail. but then i came online and searched the number and i'm finding posts like this, with various suspicions. some say "ghost caller", some say "fraud", some say "collections agency". even the government's got us playing charades.

Received call from 763-561-9120. No vm was left. I googled it after I saw the missed call because I did not recognize the number and found this site.  I decided to call the number back. Keep in mind I have no idea what this is or who Reliance Recoveries is, and have no outstanding debt (besides student loans which are on auto-pay) and have not been to the hospital in YEARS, especially Abbott!

--Auto answer was for Reliance Recoveries.  1 for spanish, 2 for english.  Pressed 2.
--Was prompted to enter acct #.  Don't have anything, pressed the option stating I have no acct #.
--Asked for last four digits of SSN.  DO NOT GIVE IT!  I pressed 0000.
--Since it was not recognized, I was directed towards a rep. Automatic voice said I may hear clicking while being transfered and I was asked not to hang up.

--Female answered. I asked her who she was and what she wanted.  She said (very upset, in response to my unsettling tone) she was with Reliance Recoveries in MPLS.  I told her I think she is a scam and asked her what she wanted from me. Lady was now extremely rude and told me she was not in fact a scam.  I asked how she got my number. She said, "How can I know that if you won't give me your number."  I said I'd give her my name.  She said she can't look me up by name.  If you were a collectors agency, shouldn't you have that BASIC information??

I eventually (after arguing with this very sassy woman!) gave my last name.  She still couldn't find me and I gave my number.  She conveniently said the number was associated with a Joshua Wolf who provided this number as his contact info.  I said, "All you have is a name and number?!  Seems pretty silly for a so-called debt collector to only have that information."  The female was extremely unprofressional, not hesitant to talk back.  Rude in demeanor.  I told her she should never call me again because I believe she is a scam, I told her about how if I googled her I did not receive a search result for Reliance Recoveries; rather, I was prompted to numerous sites indicated this was/is a scam.

Female said, "Yep you're right we are" and promptly hung up.

I know have googled "reliance recoveries" for Brooklyn Center, MN; there is no exact business website listed but a number does display on http://twincities.citysearch.com/profile/5605 ... recoveries.html for (763) 585-8500.  I plan to call and complain/question this.  I am also calling my cell phone provider to block this number and also my bank to make sure nothing is given to this company, if in fact they were able to somehow locate any sort of my information.

it is reliance recovery if you do not answer by law they can not leave any pertinent info on a voicemail
most they can say is their name where they are calling from and the number to reach them at ... by law they can not leave acct # or dates of service acct info unless they actually speak to someone

they are collection agency one of the companies they do this for is Allina Health Systems
they have 11 hospitals and over 450 clinics ... if you have ever been to a dr even for lab work in mn there is a very great possibility you probably were somehow involved with in the Allina Health Systems

If the person does not live there than tell them that when they call and state to them that they are not to call your number anymore as whomever they are trying to reach is not at that phone # they will take your number off their calling list
