Recieved a phone call this morning, Saturday October 11, 2014 at 12:48p. I didn't answer since the number wasn't one that I recognized. I listened to the voicemail but it was just background noise and no talking.

i got a call. Not answering a number I don't recognize and no voicemail. Must not be important.

Got a call, it said it was SSI.  No one said anything but you could hear breathing.

I got a call from this # today. My grandson is on disability. Because it came up S.S.I. on caller id I answered the phone.
There was a guy on the line I couldn't hear him very well at first but he did speak up. He said he was conducting a survey.
I agreed to take the survey.  he asked how many were in the household,how many were over 18 and if any were  Hispanic
as soon as I said none he said thank you and it was done. He had said it would take about 10 min. for the survey,but it only took a couple of min. I don't know if it would have taken longer had I answered that there were any people of Hispanic decent.

A survey for farmers about seed corn.

Did not mention any company name.

I have gotten 4 calls from this number in 2 days and all have SSI on the caller ID.  I never answer and they don't leave any messages.  They are just wasting their time as I have no intention of answering their calls so that they keep calling!  Also, I am on the "Do Not Call" list which does not bother them!

This is SSI  Survey Sampling, a marketing research company. Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Just received a call from this number.  They rudely asked for the manager.  I replied that there is no manager, you called my personal cell phone.  Again, in a very rude tone, the caller asked, "You don't have a business?  There is no home-based business at this number?"  I said no and she ended the call.

I got a call right now they said they were with Comcast asked me a lot of questions that had nothing to do with Comcast so I hung up

This number calls prety frequently and there is never anyone on the line and after 20-30 seconds it disconnects.

Have received multiple calls from this number. Didn't answer the first one and no message was left, researched it and put it on my auto reject list. If the number is not in my contacts I never answer as a matter of principle. Now I get a call every month or so from this number. No message ever left.

Received a call from this number. On the caller ID, it said SSI, however, the lady said she was Greenwich Associates and wanted to speak with the financial adviser. Said that she would leave a message, but never did.

This number called my cell phone and did not leave a message
