Don't know who this is or what they want but I am on the do not call registrty and wish they would stop calling me!

called and hung up when I answered the phone, reported them to the attorney generals office !!!! EVERYBODY SHOULD DO THE SAME it will stop these people once and for all. Everytime you get one of these calls REPORT IT to the AG IN YOUR STATE !!!!!!

It's a PERU, INDIANA #, could be someone "spoofing" the #.

I was hoping it was a potential client, so I've been googling to try to figure out the number.  411.com says it's a landline from Peru, IN.  Caller ID says affiliated VM.  My son answered the phone while I was out. They said they'd call back.  Are they a telemarketer?

Just got a call from that number, yelled at my kids NOT to answer it.  Oldest thinks he's cool and did.  Indiana State Police looking for a donation.

I had an ad on Craigslist, guessing they got my number from there where I posted no soliciting.

I called back and got this: "We apologize for any inconvenience. We tried reaching you on behalf of a non profit organization.  We will try will try again.  Thank You." Then "Sorry, mailbox for service support is full."

I donate enough to Indiana State Police in taxes and an occasional bs ticket.  Maybe they would like to donate to me?  I will be sure to ask when they call back.  How nice the politicians left this loop-hole in here!!!

They call me all day along with another NY number. I answered it half asleep, hoping they would get the hint, the guy on the other end was an a$@! I told him he had the wrong number. Tech. my last name is not what he asked for anymore.

"So I have the right number, not the right name?'

Gave to this group once long ago....then a few months later they called again asking for more. When I said I couldn't to give anymore they continued to call again and again even though I said no each time. Then I said yes just to get a letter from them with their information. I sent a scathing letter to their "president" asking that they STOP calling and harassing me and letting them know they would NEVER get another dime from me since they don't appreciate the money when they get it. No response. Now they are calling me AGAIN. Every morning at the exact same time!

This number has called at least 6 times.  I have not answered it.  I did google "Affiliated UM" but that was not very helpful.  I'm guessing it's a fund-raising call since they leave no message on my answering machine.  I thought once I registered on the NO CALL list that these annoyances would cease to exist.  Guess I was wrong.

Charity calls are NOT covered by DONOTCALL laws.

These jerks call my landline and my mobile. Both my numbers are on the Indiana State and Federal Do Not Call list. They are a  telemarketer. They  are a contracted, for-profit company that calls and solicits money on behalf of non-profits, Sadly the non-profit receives about 3% of what they collect. I researched them thouroughly.BEWARE and DO REPORT THEM if you are on the Do Not Call List.

Your answer would be right if you fully researched Affiliated VM. They are for-profit telemarketers and should be reported.

The same group that brought us the Indiana State Troopers' Association, I should have known.  I wonder which charity's reputation they are trying to run into the ground this time.  For what it's worth I complained to the Indiana Do Not Call Registry and reported the 7 calls I got in the last 10 days.

I have had 8 phone calls a day from this number, fortunately we don't answer. We also are on the no call list, but if they call on behalf of nonprofit they get away with it.I am not donating to harassing companies. Most that we donate to can mail me, I will investigate and then donate if I see fit. Eight phone calls per day = not a DIME!!!!!!!!

They call before 9:00AM

We have received eleven phone calls from this number - you'd think they'd get the hint if we never answer. Tried to file an online complaint with the attorney general's office; but, the online process doesn't work. Even if this "person" is allowed to call although we are on the do not call list - they should be instructed not to keep calling if their calls are not accepted.

These people have called six times in the last four days.  As early as 8:45 AM and as late as 8:45 PM.
They are in violation of the no call list and is a scam.
