Called twice, left no message.

called yesterday and today- didn't leave a message yesterday but answered today and person seemed shocked and stuttered "uhh hello?" so I hung up. obviously not important

It is Navient school loans. You have an outstanding balance. You should answer.

They've been calling us and we don't have any student loans--never have had, plus they have my husband's name wrong. I just activated Call Block on our phone--for all three numbers they've been using--and hope that does the trick.

They call and never leave message they should leave message more people would contact them. The number comes up as private.  No one is going to answer long distance private number.

They keep calling me and asking for someone else.  I keep telling them to remove my number, but they do not listen.  It's really frustrating because they call me several times a day, using several numbers.

These monkeys call all the time multiple numbers. Want social or loan numbers for stuff that doesn't exist. Scammers

Same....l you block 1 number and they call back from a different. I have no loans, they just fishing for social security numbers and idiots fall into their reduced payoff trick.

This number calles 6 times a day every damn day. Is this harrassment?

They have called me a lot of times, but to be fair, I just got this phone number about a month ago. It is a school loan company. Easy fix is to answer or return their call and let them know they have the wrong person, if the call really isn't for you. Woman I spoke to was nice about it!

I do NOT owe any student loans! I have my original promissory note stamped paid in full in RED!

Even if you have loans or not calling from 50 different numbers is annoying. They call from this number as well 607-235-5092 which comes up as Floyd L Marks, then they call from 267-388-1837 which comes up as Alice F McClain. It really needs to stop!

They must not have received a copy of your promissory note showing you paid to off. Maybe get their fax #, and fax a copy to them. Congrats on paying your loans off, by the way! That's quite an accomplishment!

I get this call all the time too. Never leaves a message. We can't talk to them, we're having to take them to court. They've been too court multiple times over screwing ppl and businesses over. If you have loans through them get them out. They lie and programs they don't have and they send you to the creditors bc they loose paperwork for deferments. You have to stay on them constantly to get anything done and they take their time. And they will try to get you to consolidate to raise the interest and make payments higher. They call even if you're always on time with your payments.

I am on a hardship waver due to being ill. I have had to fill out paperwork three times. They sold then bought back my loan twice.

So what does that have to do with this phone number?  Are you saying they are calling you because you owe them money?  If so, then perhaps you should be making them follow the law when collecting this debt.

Navient is a student loan servicer associated with Sallie Mae.  They've been calling me too, leaving messages for me to call them back.  I'm retired and never had a student loan.  They seem to be trying to reach my niece, who has never lived with me or used my phone #.  Other posts say that they try to get relatives to pay for the loans.  Don't know if that's what's going on but I relayed that they were leaving messages to my niece, who said that her father was handling the matter (whatever it is).  I picked on on the 5th such call after doing some research here and elsewhere.  They announced that the call may be recorded.  At that point I stated that California is a two party permission state with regard to call recording, that I don't give them permission to record, and ordered them to turn their equipment off.  They asked for my niece.  I stated that there's no such person here and the call ended.  Doesn't matter if they're in a different state.  They're vulnerable to fines and/or jail time if they recorded.  Already been adjudicated.
