I have received these calls since November 10th.  No one there when I answer

I believe this is Navient Solutions - they took over student loan collections for Sallie Mae. As of this morning (it's 9:16) they have called 3 times, left no message. Yesterday, they called 5 times. The 'sister' number is 765-367-0782. I'm paying on my student loans, just not the 'recommended' amount. This is a P I T A.

A woman called her just now, claiming to be with Navia aunt. She is looking for our son, who has a deferred payment arrangement with Navient.  She asked me to give her his Social Security number and phone number over the phone to her to verify we were talking about the same person and I literally said are you kidding? Not only is that unprofessional it’s extremely sketchy.

someone named Viviana, with a heavy latin accent, left a msg i couldn’t understand.  The number i could hear is 800-891-7612. i looked up the number she was calling from & it was Naviant, a student loan collector.

Someone from Navient looking for someone that is not me. The woman spoke very broken English. Heavy Latin accent. I told them they have the wrong number. Called 7 times. 5:13 Am, 5:21 AM, 9:11 AM, 9:19 AM, 1:30 PM, 1:38PM, 5:17 PM. They would not stop calling. I blocked their number but they have left multiple messages in my voicemail. Four messages so far since 5:17 PM. It is now 6:54 PM that I am writing this report.

Navient again, this time a English speaking caller.  I used my Mrs Doubtfire voice when she asked for her target, then hung up.  I won’t block the number, just add Navient & never pick it up.  I turn off the ringer at 8pm

That only saves you one hour as they are only allowed to call until 9 pm your time.  Leaves them 12 hours to call you though since they can legally start at 8 am.  Perhaps a certified, return receipt "not me" letter would be more logical?

Just got a call...is my daughter Emily?... No...is your name Carmen .....? Yes...is your address?.... No...he is calling a number in PR...asking is my address in NY....funny thing he has my daughters address....any ways my daughters name is not Emily and she has no student loans...so don't know where they get their info from or this number!

Someone named "Ashley" left a message on my girlfriend's cell phone for someone named "Donald", saying that I had given them her number as an alternate contact and that they couldn't get a hold of me. They left a callback number of 800-891-7628. Said they were Navient Student Loans. I have no student loans. Checking my credit report to make sure I haven't been a target of identity theft.

Call came in from Navient and since I didn’t recognize it I didn’t answer it. The girl did leave a message though and was very polite.  She said a Roger had given my name as a reference for his student loan and she was trying to get in touch with him. Since the only Rogers I know  are really really old like me, In their 80s, I never called her back.

Message was hard to understand due to poor connection or something. I needed to replay it about 7 times to get as much as I could of it. English speaking lady looking for another family member who's been deceased going on 5 years with a supposed student loan. Alternative number given as a call-back number: 1.800.891.7628
