Calls home phone, when you answer there is just dead air.

Claimed they were asking for a financial support for families of fallen police officers.
Told them NO, but they were persistent. Stuck to my guns!! I thought that would be the
end of the calls. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. They have called three more
times today!! I did not answer these calls. I'll never donate money to any organization over
the phone, or from paperwork sent from such a phone call.

The families of fallen officers only get about 1 to 3 percent of the money collected. If you really want to help, do a little research. Most of the families have a fund set up at a local bank that you can contribute to.

My number is on the no-call list but they have been calling me for several months now but I never pick up.  I don't know what you have to do to get these nuisance calls to stop.  The number that keeps calling me is 765-683-2465.

Been calling last few days. Have not answered. They leave no VM.

Wish they would stop calling. I receive at least 3 of the calls per day. Its very annoying.

we have also been getting calles from affiliated vm at 765-683-2465 for months.  We are also on the no-call list.  We never answer these numbers but they call on a regular basis, sometimes two or three times a day, and almost always around 8AM on Saturday morning.  What can we do?

765-683-2465 continues to call my home phone.  Called today - Sunday.  Also on  No-Call list.

765-683-2465 caller id shows Affiliated VM calls my home phone 2 times a day, usually around 830am and 530pm.  I don't answer, no message is left.  My phone has a block # option and I finally had to add this number.

I got a call the other day from a different number about lowering my credit card interest rates. I called my telephone provider to see if they could block the number. They told me to call the National Do Not Call Registry and have my name put on the do not call list. If they keep calling you then you need to call the national registry back and report them so that they can fine these people for calling someone who is on the NoCall list.

This number calls my house repeatedly, leaves no voice mail. I answered it today, hang up. Called it back and got a message they are a non profit firm not accepting calls. I take care of an elderly lady with a lot of health issues. These calls are driving her nuts during the day while I am at work. Also on the no call list and nothing stops them from calling

This phone call needs to be stopped. ALot of people are complaining and yet it continues.

I made a complaint with the attorney general. They don't call any more  I believe they are non profit and the no call list won't apply to them

While "charity" solicitations are exempt from the DNC rules professional solicitors are not, and the vast majority of these calls are done by professional telemarketing companies.  So even if you are on the DNC list they can call you the first time, but if you ask to be placed on that companies DNC list they must comply.

If a third-party telemarketer calls again on behalf of that charity, the telemarketer may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000 ."

I've also been getting these calls from 765-683-2465, and CallerID also reports Affiliated VM as the caller.  My calls tend to come in around 8:00-8:30pm, so I don't bother answering them, and instead just let them go to voicemail (and of course, they never bother to leave a message).

I wish someone would post a way to deal with them so they'd stop bothering people!!!

My number is registered on the national do not call list.

Once you request a DNC from any "charity" if they call back - Report them to authorities.
Also, many are "fake charities"
