These crooks claim to be windows organization asking for your system key; DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION  ABOUT YOUR COMPUTER. They are hackers and will take control of your computer system -- These crooks need dummy systems to launch their hacking activities into credit card center, banks and any prey for their thievery. BEWARWE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a message from this person stating they needed myself or my retaining attorney to call them and if I did not call them back all they could do for me is wish me good luck....... They are nothing but SCAM!!!!!!!

They used a computer-generated female voice to say that my account was locked and I must press one to talk with someone. Scam.

They keep calling me and never speak.  They ask for my son and call frequently.

SCAMMERS! Beware, they will ruin your computer then try to charge it to fix it. Awful people!

They call me regularly and when I told him to stop, he said he would call me all day and night until I paid him $300.

Caller ID reads Dir Asst [St.] where St is a state like NY, CA, MS, etc

No answer. No message. A scam for sure.  Dir Asst or Directory Assistance has never ever called here in decades.  Either a telemarketer or a scam and I'm leaning toward scam.  This is Saturday and even unwanted callers haven't called on Saturdays until today.  The Do Not Call list is not obeyed and is a waste of time and bureaucracy.  no one is prosecuted that I ever hear of.  FTC does not seem to do anything except log complaints.  Besides that they make the reporting process more difficult than it needs to be.  there is no online complaint form you can use. You have to print and fill-in a paper form and mail or fax it to them.  What a bureaucratic waste.  Probably have highly paid staff to count these complaints. That's about all they do, too.
