This caller identified herself as a salesperson for Carpenters Network, a company that supposedly provides leads through your cell phone for a fee and to "only 3 other companies" at the same time.  Carol, the sales person was rude and consistently talked over me to drown out my objection, "no's" and anything else I had to say.  Personal pet peeve here, she chewed gum and smacked her lips in my ear while talking.  Tried to be polite and tell her not interested, she wasn't having any of it, instead she turned on the high pressure sales pitch and completely ignored anything I had to say.  When I advised her I wanted to be removed from her calling list, she again completely ignored me and refused to acknowledge that I had said so. I finally just set the handset down and allowed her to talk to empty space until she figured out that I wasn't listening any longer and hung up.  Even if this company offered a suitable lead generation (which they don't) I would never use any company that calls and harasses people for their money.

This is someone calling to try and sell construction leads to contractors. This is NOT a legitimate lead service. BUYER BEWARE!!! This service has a lot of bad reviews.

I too had some calls from this number but I do not pick up.

Saw the 770 area code on my caller ID here at my work. Didn't answer.  She left a voicemail "Hi, this is Carol and I'm calling about some roofing. 770-407-8795." I figured it was a sales call.  Thanks for all the info above. I'll continue to ignore this number coming in.

Just got a call from Carol... she knew my bosses name and what we do... said she had spoken with him... but she did talk over me and was SUPER pushy... Told her...."SEE YA!"

Carol was trying to sell construction lead.  Pushy, nasty and rude.  Then a guy named Carl called from the same number cursing me out because I told her I wasn't interested in their services.

Same b**ch called me. Told her wasn't interested,and she kept going so I hung up on her. She called right back and left a voicemail "I just ask a question, and you slam the phone down up in my face. I guess I write a review as well. Thank you. GO FOR IT B**CH!

I have a cordless phone so I just clicked a button...no slamming haha dumba$$

Scammer/Sales...Carol claims she's looking for a pest control company, but it only took a few seconds to figure out she's wanting to set up sales leads for us.  I just kept asking her what type of services she needed and she got upset and hung up! LOL LOL!!!

Wow.  Random telemarketing call... according to Carol, I had to hurry and make a quick business decision (over the phone while driving no less) to hold my spot--because she only has four spots in my area!  Ooooh!  Sign me up!!!  QUICK!!!  I don't think so, Tim.  I just don't know what to say here... say "NO" to crack I guess?  I hope no one falls for this scam artist.  Wow.

So, I just got the lovely phone call from Carol. She was extremely rude, and when I asked her several times for the name of the company she was with she accused me of harassing her and hung up on me. I called the number back and asked to please speak with someone else and again asked for the name of the lead providing company she was with. She handed the phone to a man who apologized, but still refused to provide me with a company name. WEIRD! Do not waste your time speaking with Carol, she is probably the rudest person I have ever spoken on the phone with.

Just got a call from Carol and she asked me if we handle residential work. As soon as I said NO (which we do but I knew it was a sales call to produce some kind of leads for $$$)  She hung up in my face.  Do not do business with these type of people.  Avoid them like the plague.   If they do not treat you with respect and a professional manner they are not worth the headache and are possibly scam calls.

Received a v-mail message from this caller "We're calling about some carpentry work."  I never answer unfamiliar area codes.  They are either trying to sell something or scamming.  Thanks for the postings above.

Yup...Just got a call from Carol.  When I ask if she was a lead generation firm she avoided the question.  When I told her I was not interested and to remove me from her list of numbers to call she got irate and told me I didn't know what she had to offer.  At that point I hung up.  She called back several times in a row and I chose to not answer.

All we get now are telemarketing calls, we never directly answer the phone anymore. Carol left a message, saying she needed emergency electrical work (from outside our area codes), but I've learned to check numbers before calling back. Thanks for the posts, folks, the lie she tells in leaving a message was not terribly rude, except for it being a lie.

Yeah, just dealt with this one... she claimed to have a partnership with google, yahoo and bing search engines... ha!  Too bad I've been doing search engine optimization for over 10 years.  Posed as a customer, talked over me, started getting rude at the end. Typical hard sales language.  Wouldn't want to be associated with them in any way...

Carol called me twice this morning, but I didn't answer. She left a voicemail saying she was calling about fence work.

 I got a voicemail from this lady"Carroll",I thought it might be someone out of state looking for a plumber to do work at a rental,and then bill them,which I get COD and called this morning to tell her that.Someone picked up on the other end,but didint say anything,so I hung up.A few minutes later she called back,but by that time I had found this thread,so I didnt answer,Its hard enough to make a living without phone buzzards taking up phone time that could be spent talking to customers with legit.problems.
