called 4 times between 8am and 5pm today, caller ID says "protocol recove". left automated voicemail all 4 times, stating that they were not telemarketers and that they were calling regarding a "personal business" matter. left a 1-877 number to call back.

Annoying recording stating not a telemarketing group. But have important information.

Several calls but I do not respond - I don't know who they are.

Just started call my home 1mo ago and I continue to ignore.  I don't know who or what they are?

Received a voice mail call on my cell phone - didn't respond or call back.

called but left no voice mail- will not call back and reply

Recieved a call and system left a voice message, this must a new telemarketer's technique to get you to answer your phone.

They've started calling my cell phone - not sure why and I won't pick up or call back.

Received calls from this number for two weeks at random hours before finally calling and requesting that they cease and desist. I spoke to a gentleman who apologized and said my number had been removed, however the calls have not stopped.

Anyone have a similar experience?

3rd call from this number. Spoke to a Mr. Bowen. Trying to collect on an bill. This is the 3rd or 4th company calling to collect on the same account.  I let him know that I will hold him personally responsible to remove the number from their records, and that he would be hearing from me if I get any more calls ;). He said his company wouldn't call again, but he couldn't speak for any other company that picks up the account :(.
We'll see. I did't get it but there's an 800 call back number.

Getting these calls almost daily....refer to unknown name and asked to call back 877-678-0567.  Person who answers can hardly take down a number.
Told to remove my number....he said he could not find!!! I am on the "do not call" list...what good is that????

Recieved a call at 6:57 am on my cell phone. They are calling for my mother who lives in another state and does not have a phone of her own. I do not know how they have my cell phone number. This is most likely a collection agency, considering that this is the 5th collection agency that has called my cell phone looking for my mother.

This is a company called Protocol Recovery they call for outstanding credit balances that are turned over from financial institutions such as Citi Financial, etc....
