Yes this is a collection agency, they actually called and threatned my mom, saying that he was a private investigator calling about check fraud.

Female started the call with angry responses, calling me names and threatening to sue me if I didn't comply with her request. This was before I even had chance to ask who she was so I was stunned. I asked who she was and she yelled at me again, saying she did not have to tell me and that if I asked again, I would be sued for stalking. The entire call made no sense at all to me so I just hung up.

A totally bizarre call. Never had such a strange one before.

female claims there are many investigators at said office yet wont release any credentials to verify their allegations. a reverse search shows that the company is as fallows:

Got a call from this number, left a message on my answering machine and said they were an investigator porter or something like that.  If this is a collection agency, serious problem because I am not late on any of my bills.

I was skipped traced by this collection agency looking 4 a Shelly tht I dnt know..She should put me on the do not call list....

Investigator Green called my 84 year old mother and me telling us that I was going to be charged with check fraud by some payday company. I asked for all the information in writing and was told that wasn't going to happen. Then given three choices all different amounts to be paid today. Called the above number for Johnson and Purdy and was the same company.

Thank you for the information, I got a call today from this same person, I was under the impression it was a bill collector.

This is Ms Green from CNA Investigations. I have a very important situation that needs your immediate attention....etc, like Michael's and Rusty's. She presented herself as some kind of law enforcement official and scared the heck out of me! She rattled on about a check cashing deal from years ago, that I do not know of, refused to give me any info on it, until I pushed her. She got hateful and gave me the particulars after that . They definitely are a collection agency, with a new twist on collection tactics.

Those tactics are unlawful. Collection agency's can not criminally pursue you. They are a third party and their tactics are against the FTC rules and guidelines. I would get something in writing from them. If it is in fact your debt, PAY THE ORIGINAL COMPANY...NOT THEM. I guarantee if you pay them, some other company will be doing this to you soon. They sell your information to a broad spectrum of "debt collection agencies" I have a feeling these people are Vandenburg, Chase, and Associates or Delnor and Associates. All located in Georgia...all scam artists. Report them to your state attorney generals office then call Georgia's attorney general and file a complaint.
