Just hung up from the phone conversation with a guy named Rich. He called and told me that I won a prize. He said "Gongratulations! Just pay for the shipping and handling and the prize will be on its way to your door. Please tell me your credit card number with the verification code on the back of your card". I've not laughed so hard for a long time!

just to let you know the DNC list doesnt really work. I work in the telemarketing industry. What happens is, they put you on their dnc list, but the minute you do buisness with that buisness enity who's calling you, you go right back on their calling list. What your supposed to do is decline four times, and then after that they can be fined for up to 500$ for every time they call you after that.

Try this, it worked for me! You can sign up on the national do not call list!  If they call after you have placed your number(s) on this list, simply answer the phone saying that you are on the do not call list & want them to stop calling. They have to stop calling, it's the law.

They would have enough with the CC number if you had ordered something.
Could be using your CC and the VCC number to order things for their own, and then you'd get stuck with the bill!  Keep those numbers to yourself, and don't give ANYONE your information!  I'd urge everyone to put a fraud alert on their SS# as well.  This way, absolutely no one can register anything with your SS#, unless verified by you first.

Hey, I just got a call from these guys. A woman, who was very rude and agressive (which is so weird when you're running telephone scams). I told her to never call me again and she had the audacity to tell me that she was returning my phone call. And then she gave me a number for their do not call list and it was no longer in service.

If you see a number from the 770 area code, just click ignore.

The number 770-499-8759 keeps calling but never leaces a message and after googling it I got this website....................   the # shows up like 10 x a day for the last few days.  Next time I'll answer and have them remove my # from whatever list they're calling from.

I just received a call from this # (770-499-8759) and the deep voiced man on the other end just said "yo cuzz” and then hung up or the call dropped...??  I was really surprised when I looked up the # to see what or who it was, and I find out all this!!!   It’s like WOW I wish I could win the lottery this easy!!!! LOL :P  BUT NOOOOO…  I win the call from the dirt bags looking for a free meal…  If they worked this hard doing things the right way, they would be Rich beyond belief and with fewer consequences!!!!
:P   HAA!!!

Just put the TELCO "out of service" tone on the front of your VM or answering machine outgoing message.  Any of the automated (auto-dialer) systems that these scum-bags use can't tell if the number is really out of service or not.  Your friends or business associates won't even notice the tones (most people don't really listen to your message anyway).

You can get the tones from a link on this website: http://wolfram.org/writing/howto/phone.html

Let's beat them with their own technology!

i called it back and it says "you have reached the do not call message line. if you would like for your name to be removed from our list, please leave your name and #. it does take about 72 hours to be removed from our list..." and how convenient that the Voicemail box is FULL.

Today I started receiving calls from this #.  I am up to 15 times.  I called my wireless company and they put a block on this #.  It last up to 60 days and they do not charge for the block.
