Didn't pick up...suspect it's a telemarketer.

Total scammer, not abiding by do not call list yet is soliciting services...

Be SMART either don't answer, hang up or block the call folks...

Received a call from 1-770-742-6299.  CID was Jonesboro GA. I gave it the old one ring pickup and immediate hang up.

Was called by this number but they left no message. I returned the call and received a recording saying it was "Eric from the fraternal order of police".  Guess they think we were all born yesterday.  I blocked them.  AMF.

They called at 11:40 AM EST. I did a yahoo search. It is a telemarketer wanting donations for the Fraternal Order of Police. I do not give donations over the phone. I wish we could stop all the telemarketing and call requesting donations.

how did you block that call?

I called back.  The answer says to call back some other time, or you may leave a detailed message with your name, phone, number, and desire to be taken of their list.

Ask your phone company if call blocking is available and if it is are you able to block ALL unwanted calls or just selected ones?  OR you can purchase a Panasonic phone that will block up to 250 numbers.  It is well worth the price.  I'm working on over 100 numbers already from scams or telemarketing calls.

This number is active again.  No idea if it is the same crooks who used it two years ago as reported above.  It rang once at 2:23 pm today and was stopped by my blocking service.
