- William replies to qurl| 1 replyYour customer service department followed through on my complaint but insulted me at the same time. I am not in need of lessons on how to clean my lenses. I was a manager at National Vision Center and was well trained at cleaning lenses. I clean my lenses with wet cloths from National Vision store purchases or cleaning spray with silk cloths after wiping with water. To insult me saying I will get the training needed to clean my lenses. You need to listen to your customers better and treat them better also. I am so glad I am not working for this company any longer. You have great people working at some of your locations but others need lots of help.
- Pam replies to WilliamI had a problem with "America's Best" which I cannot get resolved. What a sham of a company - just awful....... I guess they are responding to my 2nd complaint. I would say - anyone who is considering dealing with them - forget the two pair stuff - they are such an incredible ripoff - shame on me. I'm dealing with my husband's brain cancer and our financial situation - boy did I get ripped off big time...... Please, just buyer beware - I wasn't because of my emotional state. [***]......

- CassandraSo I called to ask a few questions to customer service and the lady was so rude she wouldn't listen to what I was saying. I did the 2 pair with free exam like I do normally. This year I wanted transitions and anti reflective coating. The website quoted me $285.95 for the 2 pairs with both transitions and anti reflective coating. When I went to the store they quoted me 379 and some change I pulled the website up... and they didnt know how to get that same quote. So I just took transitions on one pair because the very clear piece of information on the table said $55 for one pair... it DID NOT say $54.50 per lens.. I paid the $191.48 feeling like I was paying too much and went home looked up the website and seen that for 2 pairs of transitions with frames both pairs for $197 and some change. So I emailed the customer service email that they put up under contact me. They sent an immediate email saying you will get contacted within 1 business day. Well 2 days go by and nothing so I called the customer service line. When I tell you the lady was just flat out rude. Didn't listen to anything I was saying or trying to explain, she'd cut me off, and kept wanting to tell me what I paid for in the store. I kept telling her I already knew what I ordered. And she kept going back to it. I just wanted to know why I could get 2 pairs of transitions with 2 pair of the 59.95 frames for $6 or so dollars more then what I paid in store for the ones I bought. She kept referring back to the free eye exam. If it's free why is that even relevant in my cost. Let's forget that why is pricing online so much different then pricing in the store, and why do the stores reps not know why the pricing is so different. So the only thing I got out of this is to just get plain and simple with them anything else is too much of a hassle I go to them because I've never had an issue I have issue where I could have gotten name brand glasses and an exam and not paid that kind of money. Lesson learned. The lady on the phone pretty much said it's cheaper online because you don't get the free eye exam if you already have a prescription.. So in hindsight if you get the free eye exam everything else is going to be WAY higher then the prices they quote on their little pamphlets and online. I will never go back to this place again. I'll just use my insurance and call it a day!
