Just got a call from this number today. from [***], GA

I just had a call from 770-886-4070 - Caller ID says KMA ONE - When I answered they hung up. They are now on my block caller list.

This number called at 6:30am and when I called back, it went straight to a generic voicemail

The called my work phone, did not leave a message.  Id shows KMA ONE

Called my job twice in a row looking for two execs by name. She said she was calling on behalf of IBM.

Just received a call with caller ID showing 770-886-4070 KMA ONE.  I put it through to voice mail, and they did not leave a message.

I've gotten where if I receive a call with no caller ID or one that shows a number I do not know, I just forward it to voice mail.  When I do this, I've never had a message left by the caller.

They have the number 770-886-4040, and I bet they also have 770-886-4070.

Called again today.

Their website is www.kmaone.com. They are a marketing company. I called their main number, 770-886-4000, and spoke to a very nice gentleman who suggested I may have downloaded an IBM whitepaper and it was probably a follow up call. I download a lot of whitepapers, so that's probably accurate. I don't know why they called anyone else, but it looks like in my case it's a legitimate follow-up call. I know to expect them anytime I download a whitepaper.

Yeah, they get your information from TechTarget or similar companies that send out whitepapers.

Yup, definitely IBM marketing.  Just took a call from them.

Yes, IBM marketing calling on my cell phone that is provided by my job.  Called during my lunch break, which is not cool at all.  Told them I don't have time and not to bother calling anymore.  Intrusive.

Received call from 770-886-4070. Caller claimed to be a reprensentative for IBM.
This is not an IBM company, but they may be contracted to provide marketing/ solicitation for IBM.

A lady called and wanted to know my name before she would identify hers or her company.

A serious pet peeve. If you are going to inconvenience someone, make an introduction first.

Christine Barry of KMA One called from this number. Having googled the number while it was ringing, I knew what it was about. She said she was with IBM. I asked her specifically if that was the case? She said no, but she is calling on behalf of IBM. I said who at IBM asked her to call us and what was it about (my company has many services with IBM)? She said firewalls etc. blah blah blah. She wouldn't say who at IBM told them to call us. When I asked if it was our IBM Account Manager, she said yes. I said what is our Account Manager's name? She didn't know. I said if she did know and she was with IBM, she would have known our account was a do not call (except for our Account Manager).

Is it me or do people who blatantly misrepresent themselves and their company deserve this treatment?

YES! They deserve this treatment and more!!!!! Go get 'em. I just got a call from them this morning. Time waster.
