I've gotten some collection agency mail from Georgia,
this was probably one of them.

Requested to speak with (name) person who 'works there'.  Unable to confirm the name among our employees (vs. someone we pay), I repeatedly asked if he was trying to verify employment of the person.  He refused to confirm that he was trying to verify employment, and asserted that he wanted to speak with the person, who he believed works here.  After about two or three times through that roundabout, he gave up, and hung up.

called said they were from government, returned call from caller id and they answered as a collection agency out of georgia. very rude and also determined to make your life miserable.

Keeps calling me two or three times a day and never leaves a message. Very frustrating.

Male called my cell phone this afternoon while wife is at work.  Caller asked for my wife.  She has her own cell phone and never gives out my number, so I do not know why they would call my phone.  I said my wife was not there and caller said he would call back later but did not state why he was calling.  My wife is currently job hunting and I thought it was somehow related to her search for new employment.

My wife and I have been fighting for years over a student loan and I assume that is what this call is about.

I have no idea how they got my cell phone number.

called to ask me to pay a loan of $1200 that's now $9,900.00...I never got the loan....the lady that took the money is in jail....I ask the person to send me the loan papers with my name on them...I was told they have thirty days to show you the paper work or write it off...he was very nasty and this has been going on for over 10 years. I just don't know what to do about it...sick of them calling me....took $600.00 last years tax money and never showed as a payment...they take your money and sale it to the next collection company and it starts all over again...some how they got my cell number...I had to hang up on them last time because he was so bad...talked down to me like I was some kind of trash

Silence for 44 seconds.  No answer at all.  I'm assuming from all these other posts that sound mind-numbed turd is sitting at his desk looking to make my life hell next time he calls back.

I received a call from MS Thompson (Obviously black from voice) looking for my room mate saying she had a court ordered debt.  She called me at work, home and on my cell phone.  I told her she was calling me at work and my personal cell not my room mates.  She told me to stop lying.
