This is obviously a spoofed number, since there is no area code 771 in the US, but there is in Mexico. I didn't pick up since I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. It went to voice mail and all I could hear was a few seconds of background "boiler room" noise before the call ended. This number has earned the big "Block" award and will now go into the ether if it calls again.

Call from "NAME NOT FOUND."  Let it go to answering machine and the message was a male with an accent repeated saying "hello" until he hung up.  Thanks to a previous post here, I have blocked the 771 area code.

Called saying my windows computer had a huge problem and needed to take care of it. As when i know my PC is with an american getting fixed my windows is with me. When i heared that i hung up. An accent guy talked and heared weird noises in the background. Its sad to say people are trying to scan us, and may think they will get away with it. Another thing, my number is unlisted how the heck are people getting my number. Needs to put to a stop.

I received a call from this person as well and he was telling me that I needed to fix a problem in the computer which I know is in good shape. I'm glad I found this site were other people were having a similar experience from this caller. And it was a male with an accent as well.

ID showed a missed call from this number, and 1 message. There was some silence at first then a male with an accent say "Hello?" then hung up. Put on my 1000 number blocker. Hailey....they just run through area codes and numbers numerically
listed or not, this is the computer age. These scamers also share/sell numbers to each other, especially the ones they know have an active person to them, all you have to do is say "Hello" to the wrong call once.
