keep calling looking for a man named michael and when I say they have the wrong number they hang up and then just keep calling back.

I got a card underneath my doorhandle of my car that says URGENT, Please call regarding file number_________. Tried to call, phone just rings and rings.

I finally got ahold of lady who says card was left at wrong address. They were looking for "Mark"

It's car repo people.

A bussiness card stuck in my car window in the middle of the night.  Urgent please call regarding file # *** (772) 489-4760.  They were looking for my ex-brother-in-laws' truck.  I haven't seen him in 20 years but they keep leaving cards in my car window in the middle of the night.  I reported them to the police.  They are trespassing.

My sister's car is about to be repo'd.  We've been expecting this for 2 weeks.  The Urgent card onthe door was alarming though.  My sister isn't home and I thought maybe the police were trying to contact me regarding her.

Debbie, I got the same exact card and it was scotch-taped to my house door. It had someone's name that I used to know (and want nothing to do with) printed on the card with last name first and a file # hand-written on the card as well. That was on May 1 in the afternoon. Since then I've been getting SEVERAL *Private* calls and other numbers calling over and over again, never leaving a message. They sometimes call one right after the other, even on Mother's Day early in the morning for almost an hour straight, calling from a cell phone and then a land line. This is still going on. Have you heard any other word on this?

Florida, My son is an adult and I ’m not responsible for his debits. They were looking to repo my son’s truck.  My son hasn’t lived with me in 12 yrs.  He even lives in a different city.  These people are very aggressive tracking down family members and acquaintances to harass them.   These people was on my property and touch my car in the midnight of the night.  Likely I didn’t wake up and shot them, mistaken  they for robbers. In the state of FL you can protect yourself and property with deadly force.

My son's truck was repoed two nights later.

Florida, I get at least 10 collection calls a day for my ex-husband, my son,  my ex-husband ex-wife, and for anyone else who has the same last name as mine.  (I just got a call while I’m typing this) Beside my son  no one has lived with me.  Just because my name is in the phone book I get harassed.  This is not fair for us.  Even if you tell the collectors that you have no contact with  them, they will continue to call anyways.

The police always identify themselves as such..they dont just leave cards anonymously or calls etc..they always identify themselves..

Woke up to a card on my car, called the number and they were really rude. They were looking for a David Lumpkin, dont know the person. Told them to stop coming to my house in the middle of the night and they threatened me.

I just got the card this morning on my car.  I'm going to ignore it and hope they go away.
