- Jski| 4 repliesI manage SEO for several clients, and noticed this number. This number is a company called Authentify. They do Out-Of-Band Authentication. I beleive Authentify placed the calls to my numbers for Yelp, but it may be a different web listing company.

- Byzantine| 1 replyI received a call from this number on my wireless telephone at 2:05 PM on Tuesday, 16 June 2009. It was a robotic female voice repeating the same message: "IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A CALL FROM FIFTH THIRD BANK, PRESS THE POUND KEY IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A CALL FROM FIFTH THIRD BANK, PRESS THE POUND KEY IF ... ", etc. I briefly considered pressing the "#" key, and hearing someone from Uzbekistan asking for my bank account number, passwords, and Social Security Number, then informing me that her husband had known my dad back in Damascus, Syria. (My parents really were from Damascus, Syria!) But then I thought, why do that for momentary amusement when this creep, while I was laughing, was draining my Contact List and other data from my telephone?
I hung up and reported the matter to a branch of Fifth Third Bank.- Caller: Unknown

- MelCI recieved a call at 11:40 PM on September 10th (yep that's almost midnight) and when I called 5/3 bank they had no idea why I was getting this call. Always call 5/3 or any other bank yourself and not from a number given to you by someone who called you first. Your bank knows your account numbers so you need not give them out, that's definitely a sure way to have your identity stolen.
- FlashThis is a dedicated line from 5/3 bank for resetting your online account password. First it asks you to press pound and after that it asks you for the "number displayed on your screen", which will make sense if you have requested a password change but will seem confusing if you haven't. Basically, if you get a call from this number and are trying to change your 5/3 password, pick up; if you aren't, it means someone has gotten hold of your card number and is trying to access your accout, in which case, you should call the bank and let them know you probably need the card deactivated and reissued with a different number.
- Caller: 5/3 bank

- jimi was attempting to sign on to my bank account from a different computer than i normally use . since the bank did not recognize the computer it asked me a couple of security questions in addition to the regular sign on info. instead i chose to use my cell phone number which the bank had on file to have them call me to confirm that i was indeed who i said i was. on receipt of the call i entered # and the code as previously given by the website. this is just additional security that some banks use (lots of different banks use this service) and others use to verify who is accessing your account.

- BalaI received 5 calls so far stating that some one is trying to do internet banking at Lloyds TSB Bank and do I authorise it. I pressed 9 all the times to say that I do not authorise though I do not have any account in UK with Lloyds TSB Bank. I called up Lloyds TSB bank too and they could not say anything. This is scary and possibly a scam.
