- TRecorded messege saying I had won a 2007 Lincoln Navagator call 877-299-4310 to claim prize ask for Terence White- time sensative.
Called and it was a recorded messege saying busy leave number and time to call. - JCalled my parents residence and left a message to call 877-299-4310 thats they had won a new 2007 Escalade and ask for Terrance White. Called the number 5 times and finally spoke to "Terrance White". Told him I wanted to know how he obtain my fathers information and that I had googled this number and it was reported as a scam number and I should contact the National Do Not Call Registery as my parents name and number has been registered since 2003. He then told me that in that case I did not need to be told about the "Sweepstakes", that he was not a telemarketer nor advertising agency and to f'ing (thats right a curse word)call the registry and hung up the line. This is a SCAM TOTALLY! What person would talk to someone in this way

- CRecorded message from Paul with the Awards Claim Center from the number stated. That the Grand Sweestakes Giveaway for a 2007 Lincoln Navigator contest was officially over and pulled my claim form. Informed me that I need to call 1-800-428-6619 and speak to Contest Director; Terrance White for all the information and there is a time stipulation. When you call the 800 number you get a recording with his voice stating that the Awards Claim Center is currently closed and to leave your name and contact number.

- Sophie in AZ. Jan. 21, 2007I just got a call on my cell phone (which is on the National Do Not Call Registery) from the Awards Claim Center. I had won a 2007 Lincoln Navigator and to call Terrance White, contest director at 1-800-428-6619 this had a time stipulation. I called back and got a recording saying to leave my name, number and good time to call back. Decided to google "scams" and glad I did. You can't be too careful these days.

- aztiggerCalled and left me a voicemail telling me I was won a new vehicle and to call this 800 and speak to Terrance White. When you call the 800 number it is a voice mail wanting you to leave your name & number. This call came through on my cell phone and it is on the "Do Not Call List"
Has anyone actually spoke to this person? - Di| 1 replyI received a call from a Bill at what sounded like Price Distribution stating good news about the 2007 Lincoln Navigator contest I entered a few months ago. I was told to call 800-996-0081- but thought I would check on google first - sounds like this is a similar scam.

- tib| 1 replyReceived the following message on my cell phone: "Hi, this is Bill with the Prize Distribution Center. Calling in regards to the contest you entered some time back in the last couple of months to win the 2007 Lincoln Navigator. Contest is officially over and we are looking at your entry form here, so we have good news for you. So, congratulations! What we need you to do is give us a buzz back at 1-800-996-0081. Again, that's 1-800-996-0081. Just ask for Bill and congratulations."
The number they called FROM was 312-962-0230, which is registered to a Chicago Illinois residence according to a reverse phone search. I called the 800# and a female answered with "Prize Distribution Center. How may I direct your call?". I said, "I need to talk to PHIL." Her response, "You need Bill? Just a second, please hold..."- Caller: Global Crossing Local Services, Inc.

- HAWGTIDE76Received an automated call stating that I had won a 2007 Lincoln Navigator asking me to call 1-800-428-6619 and ask for Terrance White. Also stated that it was a time sensative issue. I didn't call it though, decided to google the number, glad I did, and came across this. My number is also on the do not call list. Funny how that program just doesn't work.
- Exactly...Exactly. Why would crooks worry about do not call registry listing? Think about it folks.

- TN-I received two seperate phone calls. The first from 865-329-7871 which is a TN number the second from 708-469-6554. Both messages were the same regarding a winning entry for a Lincoln Navigator. I wish I had googled the numbers first. I called back and left my name and number because I really had entered a contest on line. I later realized it was for a different vehicle.

- Benna replies to DiI received the same message just today. I called the 1800-996-0081 number that he left and I got an answering machine. The caller's name was Bill of Price Distribution.
- Benna replies to tibThis is the same script with the call I recieved..hayy! and I actually thought my tuition problem was solved. sigh*
- GarySame as above;caller stated my entry form was selected for a contest to win a Linclon Navigator. I thought it was a load of crap as it obviously is. I did call back and leave my name. I guess this Lincoln Navigator doesn't exist. Sounds like a job for Date Line NBC to look into it and prosicute these A holes.

- DebbieSimilar to other postings a recorded message on my answering machine saying I had won a Lincoln Navigator and to call 1-800-536-9567 and ask for Christie McCall (sp?). When I called the number, a recording advised that Christie was not available and to leave my name and phone number. I did not and googled scams.

- IndianaI received a message on my cell phone around 3 o'clock today. The call was from 1-773-385-9662 and showed up as an Illinois call. It was a woman who identified herself as Christine Ali. She said she was calling for "my name" at "my address" with an email address of "my email". She was calling to let me know that I had entered a contest online to win a Lincoln Navigator and other prizes. The contest was now closed and my claim number had been chosen as a winner. Congratulations. She then said that I need to call back at 1-866-516-7731 and speak to the prize director to claim my prize. She said that it was very important that I call back as soon as possible because it was time sensitive. I then called the number she left me and I received a voice recording of a man named Bill Russell. He said that if I was calling to claim a prize that I needed to leave a message with a direct line to return the call as it was time sensitive. He also said he would return my call within five minutes as he was away from his desk. He never returned my call so I went online to google contests to win a Lincoln Navigator that had ended recently because I couldn't remember entering a contest. I of course came across this site and was amazed. I don't understand the point of the phone call and message.....What are they trying to do? Like I don't get enough telemarketers, etc. calling on my home phone....now I have to deal with it on my cell? Sigh.
