Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Got called TWICE, a little over an hour apart. But I'm not at home, so I got the same automated message both times in my voicemail. I'll happily be reporting the calls. I've added the number to my block list, so they'll now just get a message that my number is disconnected.

Recorded message left "call as my name was associated with tax fraud and/or evasion" to call at once!

Called twice within an hour of each other.  Left an automated message both times stating I have committed tax fraud.  Want to make sure everyone knows this is a scam!

Threatening messages left about 3 x day to have me or my lawyer call the number to solve a serious IRS issue. Have never answered.

Didn't get the entire message but said either I call or my lawyer call back. Another IRS impersonation

Received 2 calls this morning from this caller 1 (773) 312-4329 Indian/English Scammer

This is the IRS what is the name of your criminal attorney?

Um yeah right. IRS does initial contacts via good old snail mail. Made sure wife and kids are aware of this as well.

The following number (773) 312-4329 has called and left a voicemail twice now. It is a male speaker, who has an accent and said that my self or an attorney should call back the following number immediately.

Got the same BS phone message this morning.

Man with difficult to understand accent said I or my attorney had to call the IRS about my tax return.  Said it was a serious issue.  I would expect the irs to use snail mail or registered mail.

this caller called and said he was investigating a tax evasion claim against me. I told him i worked at IRS and he hung up.

Google IRS phone scams  beware off this scam they use a spoof phone number to can make any number pop on your caller id even act like the cops. They are from the Middle East looking for people that are older and will be scared when they here jail time and the cops will come your house most people get scared they no this part the scam the real IRS will never call u they send a lot off letters. The person said I had law suit  for 3500 plus I did this on purpose by not paying the IRS from 2008 and if I want to take this out court I need to go to the bank and take the money out and find a store where they have money grams the IRS will never say that make sure u people about this call if they make believe them always safe than be sorry or call the cops just no it is a scam more people need to now about these scams in 2015.

Called my wife twice threatening to put her in jail about a supposed fraud debt to the IRS. For 25 years I worked in collection agencies and I know better.

Got 4 calls today 10 am, 11 am, 12:30 pm and 2 pm. Day is not over so....?
Anyway, the whole message did not seem to come through in any of the calls, but here is what did:
"Do call us back immediately. The number where you can reach us at is 773-312-4329. Again the number is 773-312-4329. Don't disregard this message and do return the call. If I don't hear from you or from your attorney either the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds upon you. Once again this is an automated message. Do return the call once you hear this message. Thank you and have a good day. Bye."
The caller Id is from Chicago IL. I hope that helps and do not return the message!
