Caller claimed that he was with the police, and someone I know was in a car accident and I am to call this number from my home phone and ask for Sgt. Miller. When I asked what county he was in, he hung up on me. He also told me that the phone number was a satellite number.
     I am guessing that if I had called the number, it would somehow give him some kind of authority to use my phone number from whatever prison he was calling from.

I got this same number, this is what happened to me:

Phone call from Prison- recording in Spanish then it said to hear message in english push 0.  It connected me  to someone saying that I had a family member in a car accident and I need to dial *721773497747 and ask for SGT MILLER.  It went to a generic voice mail.  *72 forwarded my phone number to the prison so they could keep a land line open to use instead of making collect calls.  Damn these people to hell for having me cry worried for 1/2 hour calling all my relatives to make sure they're okay.
