Called asking for Thomas.(not at this number) Ok then

I have received TONS of calls and messages for the past 6 months from this number claiming I won a car. I'm on the do not call list! I told them to please not call and they continue to bother me and my family.

also rec'd call asking for tom peters....have rec'd SEVERAL calls from this person----getting VERY annoyed--ready to report them if it doesn't stop.  Sounds like a scam......I called it back and it says it the 'awards and claims center'--but you can't get a live person, I tried!!  I also did a look up and this phone # links up to a:

A man named Ralph called and said I won a drawing. He said one of the prizes was a $20,000 prize. This seems like a scam. I called the number back but there wasn't anyone there. I have no idea how they got my cell number. I'm going to have to report them!

Same number as above...  may be related to similar calls I'm receiving from 773-493-1073 both claiming I've won a prize off an e-mail address that is a combination of a few e-mail addresses I've had in the past (freebies)

Some telemarketing company.  I called them back, pressed O and told the woman I had been tracing the calls, filed a harrassing call claim with the telephone company and police department.  She offered to put me on their do not call list.

I had this jerk (JASON) on the phone talking to a computer voice simulation. He never had a clue. I owned him, he was mine.
He got real excited must have been his first sale.

Have been called every month for about a year, trying to tell me i submitted an online entry form to win 20,000 within the last 12-18 months.

This last number was a call to my voicemail in april 2008 and has already been ported out to another customer of wireless service. ACT FAST, they go through numbers like water.

The email they provide me with (as in the email i supposedly submitted with) is 1. wrong. 2. From comcast.net. ...and i haven't had comcast email in over five years.

ASK for a copy of do not call policy in addition to being asked to be placed on the "do not call list", even saying "don't call me anymore" is good enough in court.

I received a call from Anthony claiming I won a car.  He gave me the claim number and told me he was going to give me the address.  He asked me to confirm that I was over 27 years old (no), was married (still no), and made over $50,000 (uh, no).  When I said no on all three counts, he asked me for updated information.  At that point, I said I had googled this number and found it was a scam.  We then hung up.

Stop.  Calling.  ME!

I just rec'vd a call claiming I won a car, when she confirmed if I was married, over 25 & made over x amount, she gave me a claim #.  They did have my wrong address but that did not change anything. She said the only catch is I had to give permission to release my info if I won, when I said what?  She then hung up.

Also, from a "Mitchell Communications" and "awards claims center" saying I had won a drawing for a car. Several people called my home - they did know my first name.  I called them back from a different number but could only leave message.  I don't remember entering a drawing.  In my case, they have called from an 866 number: 1-866-222-1995.

Got a call from Austina.  Was stuck inside from yesterday's snow, so i decided to indulge this one.  She told me I had won one of four prizes, a Lincoln Navigator, $40k, 4days/3nights in a resort in Orlando, or $2500 in cash.  I told her great, to send me the check for $40k.  She said that I had to go to an "awards ceremony" that would last 90 minutes at an office on the Georgetown waterfront in DC (about 20 minutes from where I live).  Oh, and she stated several times that "this is not a timeshare," even though I never questioned this.

Anyway, then she said that she just wanted to confirm that I had checked the box on the entry form confirming that I was at least 28 years old, married and making $50k.  I told her that I would not have checked that box on anything because it was not true.  She asked me what part was not true, I told her my 27th birthday was last Tuesday, my wedding is this coming July, and I just got a raise to $40k.

She then asked me if I knew anyone else who would be interested in "claiming your prize."  I told her I would think about it and then I hung up.

received recorded phone call from caller ID708-248-6929 Illinois at 8:30 on a saturday morning. Recorded message about trying to reach us for long time and this is their last attempt.  Same Bull S**t as everyone else has experienced.  I tried to look up info to find out what company called and all I could find was that number is listed in Chicago Heights, IL and other information linked to comcast but name of Mitchell Communication came up.

Got the call from the number above...same story line...gave me an address where to claim the prize.....reported to police.

I get calls saying that I won and this is the LAST time they will call.  I only wish that were true.  They tell me to call back at 877 279 3459.  The number doesn't exist. The caller ID states Illinois 773 288 8091.  I call that number and its always busy (because they're harassing others, no doubt.)  This number is associated with Mitchell Communications group.  From help on another blog, I got the number 773 358 1470. I called them.  

Wow.  they are telling me I entered.  I did NOT.  They are telling me they have a great rating with the BBB of chicago.  So I urge anyone who gets calls from any of the numbers above to go to the BBB of Chicago Website and file a complaint.  I did.  And if they call again I'm going to call the Chicago police.
