Caller told my husband that a female was killed in an accident and my husband was the emergency contact...Call 1-172-177-3437 ext 4518 for the police station to get the information. He called because I was gone shopping and he was worried something had happened to me. After, I tried calling him at home from my cell phone and I get a african woman answering, I say "hello?" and she hangs up. When I get home we call our phone provider and evedentally the number he called made it able for them to forward from our phone for outrageously expensive calls. PLEASE WATCH OUT.

Caller told my wife that a young female was involved in a tragic car accident and that our phone number was the emergency contact number.  He instructed her to call *72 1-708-785-6422 immediately and to ask for Sgt. Baker for more information.  We ended up calling our local police department who further investigated it as did we and found out it was a scam.  When you dial the number it automatically call forwards your phone number for expensive long distance calls to be billed to your account.  We called our phone carrier immediately and they made a note of it!  Please be aware of this SICK scam!!!
