773-922-5436 called around supper time last night, leaving no message. No answer when I phoned that number today.

Received a call on landline at 4:45 pm yesterday.  They didn't leave a message.  When I called the number, there was no answer.

Phoned me about 6:10 p.m.  I missed the call.  They left no message, and when I did an auto callback, I got a recording saying that the number wasn't accepting calls from private numbers.

Picked up the call.  Recorded message said to hold on the line.  Someone came on saying something about Chicago Police.  They were obviously asking for money.  I got off.  The person had the audacity to say he would call back again.

They call late at night and block call block

Yes, it is most likely a policeman's benefit group. I just received two calls, 4:30 PM and 4:43 PM.
They know we're at home getting ready for dinner.
I've never been asked before to wait for a operator who never arrived, however.
Too bad, I had a whole lot of sound effects ready this time.

Just a minor correction, it's a telescammers benefit group, police get NOTHING!

Called this morning (Saturday) at 8:30 AM waking me up.  Tried to call back but got no answer

My husband made the mistake of answering the 1st time they called. they actually sent some stickers in the mail. Now they have been calling our number for months now. Making me crazy. I just have to ignore the ringin. they call at all hours

Called 35/18/2011 7:55 pm  to my landline.

Hang up upon answering. They call once a week. No message

Call comes from Sunrocket DID. They call and ask for someone that doesn't live here. I inform them of that. "okay. We'll call back". They. Don't. Live. Here. Remove the number from your list!!!!

Some morons with nothing better do in Chicago.

I have this number listed in my phone's address book under "Charity" for police.  I highly doubt that they're legitimate, but don't know for sure.

I am on the "no calls" list and am sick and tired of these harassment calls.

Called about 1:00 PM and left no message. Have called before but never identify themselves. Think it's a telescammer too. Very annoying!

Came up as Wireless Caller said his name, can't remember and he was from
TAI on behalf of Illinois Vietnam Veterans they called from this number 2 days in a row told them to stop calling me.

Some douchecanoe called asking for my mother. When I said she wasn't here he accused me of being her and lying to screen my calls. I then told him she was in the hospital. I asked if he was selling something and he continued being rude so I hung up on him.

The gentleman said he was calling on behalf of the IL Vietnam Vets asking for my tax deductible donation.  I told him I give every month when they make pick-ups for clothing and household items.  And said I cannot make a money donation at this time because I just gave a significant amount to another Not-For-Profit that I am on the board for.   He just hung up!

Many of my relatives are Vietnam Vets, and I wholeheartedly support them.  But this is not a positive reflection.

Interesting, because I just got a call saying they are calling for charity for the Vietnam Vets.  He hung up on me when I explained to him that I donate clothing and things every month and could not make a money donation at this time.
