I was a recent robbery victim and posted an ad on craigslist.org to offer a reward.  Got a call from someone who said they had gotten my info from the LOCAL NEWSPAPER (the ad had yet to appear).....saying he had bought the jewelry at a local truckstop and his wife and he wanted to do the right thing and return it.  I was crying and hysterical...and suffice to say this person is PURE EVIL.  I only wired $350 and because my robbery is part of a larger investigation, I figured if I got any clues it would be worth it even though I figured it was a scam.  Had this info been on line I would have been able to confirm the scam - just want to help someone else.  I am very educated but it still amazes me how desperate people can become.
