Same deal as everyone else.  I just hang up as soon as they say "Attention small business owners"  
I thought there was a new law that prevented these automated calls

At any rate, it's a pain to have my work interrupted for something like this

Have received multiple calls from 773-966-1027 with recorded pitch advertising Obama-endorsed small business loans.  They leave no messages.  I keep hanging up.  They keep calling back.  I'm irritated and would like it to stop.

OK, I called the number back and it was very easy to have my number added to their do-not-call list through a quick automated process (took about 20 seconds altogether).  I expect the calls will cease immediately.

I didn't answer..as soon as I saw "consultants' in the caller id I figured it was crap.  Have been getting bombarded this week with several of these things even though I am on national do not call list..what's up with that?

These calls are generated through a client of Pac-West Telecomm, Inc. -il.
Who runs their telecommunications company through Illinois Bell Telephone Company.
This is the 773 exchange.

They are a private telephone company who issues service to businesses. But they are also an information collection agency who acquires info through scam offers via telephone and internet They call you with alternative artificial offers to dupe you into giving them your information so they can update their records on you. They sell your information and make huge profits at your expense. As a result, your personal information becomes available to anyone.

These scammers have buried their information so deep the average Joe can’t find out who they are.
Keep in mind that those who have to mask their identity are aware that they are doing something wrong.
The average Joe doesn’t have a chance to ask them to stop. Even the Government doesn’t want to help claiming it’s too difficult!  The hard-working citizen has to constantly be annoyed by these nameless, faceless sneaky thieves.
Here’s your recourse;
Since they initiated a cause of action by calling you, you have the right to return their call as often as necessary in response to their call until both parties have reached a mutual and amicable agreement. If you ask them to cease telephoning you THEY MUST RESPOND BY LAW. (Not in 3 days, not in 2 weeks, not in 30 days, but at the moment you say so!)
Any company, organization or employee is a LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES of whatever subsidiary they invent to call you. THEY HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO END THESE ANNOYING CALLS TO YOU. So YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELEPHONE ANY OF THESE PARTIES WHEN THEY CALL AND HARASS YOU.
They will make up tales and lies about their affiliation with scam calls to you. They don’t want you to know who they are and the deceptive things they are doing.
There is great power in inundating scam companies with endless phone calls the way you are interrupted by them. Eventually it costs them money and they have no choice but to stop harassing you!
Re-establish YOUR RIGHTS!
Don’t complain to your neighbors or friends…..make things miserable for the scammers!

Have received 5 calls from this number in just the last 48 hr.
I don't pick up, they don't leave a message.
I am a small biz owner so I'm certain its the same scam everyone is mentioning above.
It's a damn shame they are using the Obama name as part of their scam. Of course it's ridiculous that they can use any administration's credentials to try and substantiate their illegal attempts to steal my identifying information!!
I personally called the office of Mr. Robert H Turner.
Since he is mentioned in a post above as the CEO of the company that makes these calls. Of course it is not during biz hours but I did leave a very nice voicemail on his office phone telling him that I am sick and tired of the robocalls from his company and that if the rude and illegal behavior doesn't stop, I'll get a cease & desist order.
It made me feel better. I wonder if it will even put a dent in his multi-million dollar day? arrrgggh.

Received a forwarded ring from my GOOGLE VOICE and because it asks the callers name and then gives me the chance to answer (press 1) or send to voice (press 2) I never got to hear it. And when I got to my computer I click on the received call folder and clicked on BLOCK, so that it will always receive a message in the future from GOOGLE VOICE that says Number is not in service and be placed in the SPAM folder.
GOOGLE VOICE is great. You should use it or get someone who does to invite you to join GOOGLE VOICE in its slow roll out.

Kept getting calls but no messages, just called back and requested to be on their Do not call list.  We will see what happens!

I don't even answer any calls from Chicago.  I have no desire to deal with ANYONE from there, scammer or not.
