My call from the jobline showed up in my caller ID as 732-264-4132.  It's a New Jersey area code, but who knows where it is really coming from after reading all of these posts.

message kept repeating the same number over and over with a male voice telling me to call the jobline.

File a complaint with the FCC.

http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

"In addition to complaints alleging violations of the national do-not-call list, you may also file a complaint against a telemarketer who is calling for a commercial purpose (e.g., not charitable organizations) IF:

*The telemarketer calls before 8 AM or after 9 PM; OR

*The telemarketer leaves a message, but fails to leave a phone number that you can call to sign up for their company specific do-not-call list; OR

*You receive a telemarketing call from a company that you have previously requested not call you; OR

*The telemarketing firm fails to identify itself; OR

*You receive a pre-recorded commercial message from someone with whom you do not have an established business relationship and to whom you have not given permission to call you."

4:35 pm on line 5, c.4pm on line 6 of our rollover lines - unusual as they seem to be working backwards
through our 6 lines, I'm now expecting calls on lines 4 through 1 - our lines/phone numbers are not immediately sequential - also no opt-out option as now required by law in Illinois - we have no caller ID on our system - when I dialed the 976-4477 (I didn't dial an area code) to try and opt out after the first call, the ATT message said I needed an area code for that number so I did not pursue any further - hope these f***ers will someday get dumped in a porta-potty with their hands tied and have to eat their way out........

There's also a thread on this annoyance on the 708 area code at this site.

One online complaint on that thread cites:
"original call shows 718-332-3861 on caller id.
When you call the number they leave 708-976-4477 they want $9 a minute.
It's totally automated"
