Called with scam scenario claiming my brother was in accident.

Same thing..they called saying i had a male relative in an accident...scam

Calls and told me that some relative was in an accident. Guy was very rude. Kept saying that if I hung up then he'd kill my relative. Insisted to stay on the phone with me and until and unless I went to an ATM, took money out, and brought it to a WalMart. Once I hung up, and reported the number, I got a text message saying, "save your money for your ____'s funeral".

Definite scam, and incredibly weird. Comes through as an MA cell number.

Just got a call from "Alex" with a Spanish accent who said my brother was in an accident and kept asking for his name so they could give me details. I had just talked to my brother and knew he was ok.  I asked what he was driving and told them to tell me what his name was. They hung up. I called back. No answer. They called me again. I freaked out on them and it ended in a swearing match. Someone else was yelling in the background along with the caller.  They have been reported to the police. Losers... I'm not supporting your drug habit. Get a job!
